I understand why your parents want to be super careful with personal information, but if you want to earn money on line, at some point you will need to give it, if only to send and receive money. You can't do it anonymously. The Patriot Act here in the US has severely limited any attempts to do so.

You can set up a new email account and also get a PO Box to use instead of your current email account and physical address, and you can set up a separate bank account to use for online actiities, but you still will need to verify some of your personal information in order to get paid.

Do you have a PayPal account? Some good programs accept PayPal, so you might be able to use that. PaidSurfing seems to be a good surfing program, and it takes PayPal at the moment. You can read about that program in the GPT (get paid to) section in this forum.

If it makes any difference to you or to your parents, I am reluctant to give out my personal information, too, but the amount of money I can receive from some of the good programs on line outweighed those concerns. I wouldn't give personal information to just anyone who asks for it, but if I understand the reason it is needed and the site is secure, I will go ahead and give it. After two years of working in online programs, I have never had problems from having given that information.

TopGunTraffic (TGT) is the ideal surfing program to begin with because the administration has been proven to be honest. Be sure to read the TGT thread to get an idea of how the program's members feel about the admin.

Studio Traffic (ST) was one of the first paid-to-surf programs and has a record of stability second to none.

MoneyMakerGroup (MMG) is the perfect forum to use to find out which programs are working and which aren't. You need to be careful, though, because not everyone knows what they're talking about. I suggest you pay special attention to what the admin and moderators of the forum say. They all are successful money makers on line, and are here to help others.

Feel free to PM me if you think I can help in any way.

Which information?

To join many surfing programs, all you need is an email address!
Programs such as Studio Traffic would even pay you by check if you can provide a P.O. Box! So, your information is not being exposed.

All the banks around the world have a website now. I pay my bills and do all my banking activities on the Internet.

Personally, I find the Internet to be safer than the streets in some cities.

You earn credits for viewing sites as well as 2% of your account level. If you do not have a website to advertise with those credits you can just let them grow, or try to sell them. However, selling them is often hard..

With all auto-surf programs, you have to spend money to make money. With TGT, you invest any amount between $25 and $10000. For every day you surf 100 sites, you will be credited 2% of your account level. On the 1-3 day of the following month, you can request a withdrawal of the amount you have earned surfing, or you can reinvest the money, in increments of $25, to raise your account level for the following month.

For example, if you were to invest (upgrade) $200 into TGT today, June 21, and surf 100 sites, your available funds would be $4. Surf 100 sites for the remainder of the month, and your available funds would be $40. On July 1-3, you will have the option to withdraw all of the $40 or buy a $25 upgrade and witdraw $15. Let's say you withdraw all of it -- $40. Your account level is still $200, and if you surf 100 sites every day in July, you will have built up $124 in your available funds. On August 1-3, you will be able to withdraw and/or invest all or part of those available funds. Any funds you choose to withdraw will be sent to whatever e-currency account you have designated. Your initial $200 upgrade will stay with TGT for 365 days, and every day you surf 100 sites, your available funds will increase by $4. At the end of the 365 days, you will be refunded the initial $200. Any upgrades you make will be refunded after 365 days from the time you make the upgrade. Many people choose to increase their account level by upgrading their accounts every month. You can also upgrade your account any time with new money.

Let me know if you have any questions about how this works. If I haven't explained it very well, I'm sure other members will help me out here. biggrin.gif

Chris, TheMobileHookup is just about as cool as cool gets, and he would be just the person to ask about TGT. He's one of the admin here, and he knows a lot about many of the programs. If he doesn't know, he'll tell you who the best person to ask is.

You can get free memberships to almost all of these programs, and sometimes they're helpful to you to find out how the program works and whether you like what you see before you invest. Unfortunately, you can't make much, if any, as a free member.

That's why MMG is so great. Here you can read about all of the programs and talk to other members. You'll have a much better chance of choosing programs that will actually give you a return on your investment.

If you live in some countries you can probably already find your telephone number and a map to your house on the Internet courtesy of things like Google and Mapquest.

I don't, cos I don't live in one of them, but can somebody remember the routine to find out if you're listed?

Uhh...you might not want to tell your folks about that, if they're already freaking out--but it's true.

You're unlikely to get hurt at PIN or ST for giving your information, have you considered getting a postal box that looks like a regular street address? Wouldn't ask, but your family seems pretty privacy conscious. Mobile phone numbers can also be given and got rid of quickly if need be.

No--not unless you want to do the get-paid-to-read (and wait forever if you get paid) thing.

Click through my sig, and check out IPTL--it's down the bottom of the page somewhere (and the page wants redesigning). If your family isn't totally averse to making purchases online you might be able to pick up some spare change there.

Chris,

If we may add. In the world of "Business" Which this is... does take some money and LOTS of effort a little bit of creativity and a heck of alot of TIME to get started. Don't let anyone tell you it's EASY and EASY things are not worth much.

Contrary to what Mobile said, you can start off small and if you are creatively in time build up to a sustainable income. Remember though every single persons situation is different and you have to proceed forward with the plan that is right for you.

Hope This Helps

All it takes is dedication.

Don't expect to be making hundred or thousands of dollars a month when you are just starting out, especially if you don't have much to work with. If you are dedicated, you can turn a small sum of money into a substantial income. Heck, if you work hard enough and recruit you don't need to spend a dime of your money, just that is a more difficult route.

I really don't understand how you expect to make money and get paid if you aren't willing to put any of your details online, it just won't work that way. If you decide to fund an e-currency account and are ready to invest, follow the big money. When lots of newbies start out, they don't know what to look for in a program and haven't developed their gut instinct. Make note of where the senior members of this forum are investing and try to figure out why, do research, if something doesnt feel right, don't put a dime into it. You will make some mistakes, we all do, just make sure you learn from them.

Like Aaron and Eddie, I started out with that same couple hundred dollars and a dream. Here I am, less than a year later and my life has been changed for the better. If you are willing to put the time and effort into making things happen, you can become quite successful.

OK, Guys! I'm pretty challenged in math, so maybe someone could check my figures, but, by calculating 60% per month, if Chris joined TGT July 1, 2005 with an upgrade of $25, and if he surfed every day and reinvested everything, by July 1, 2006 he would have $6921 in his account, and by August 1, 2006, he would have maxed out his account and could withdraw $1073, minus the withdrawal fee! After that, if he continued to surf every day, he would be getting $6,000 a month, minus the 5% withdrawal fee. I know the math isn't exact, but it's close, I think. Hope I'm not far from wrong.

From $25 comes $6,000 a month, 13 months later. All on an hour or less of time every day. I'm impressed. Guess you really CAN start small. dance9bh.gif

Obviously. smile.gif
Renee

Oh! My friend MobileHookup just reminded me that most programs don't last a year, or at least you can't count on it. I'm hoping TGT will, but he's right, which leads us to the second rule of earning money on line (right after "Don't invest what you can't afford to lose) -- "Diversify your investments." Unexpected things happen to programs, and the higher the risk, the greater chance that something will happen... Guess that might also be a problem. If you can't risk your personal information, you probably won't want to risk even a small amount of money....
Marlena
Now, now Eddie, I thought we were going to stay out of the Dominican Republic harhar.gif

But yeah--autosurfs are the Next Big Thing, and TGT is one of the better ones. Doublers were quicker, but dead, the days of HYIPs lasting for a couple of years and paying on time are dead, and even deader are the days when if you had any kind of useful skill from writing to tech it was hard to not make $500 a day or more just turning on your computer.

Cheer up Chris. I started with a -$3000 balance--all my money was stolen. Only making about $150 - $200 a month on the Net now, but that's since January of this year, and have made as much as $1000 a couple of months in that time.

So--if you can do something (write copy, make banners, program) do that. If you can't, probably a good idea to start a web site about something you really enjoy with google links or the like, that might bring in a wee bit of dosh. And stick $25 into TGT, join a few get-paid-to-reads where it's relatively easy to redeem for advertising, use those and every other avenue you can think of to promote it.

Still won't make you a millionaire next month, but hey--it's a start.

i really appreciate all the feedback from everyone. But would starting with ST be a good idea, because just for joining, you get $10 free. Then i can upgrade, get some more money, then invest in TGT or other programs? Because this way, i think i would be able to make some money, maybe not a whole lot, but do it without spending my own money(which i don't have). The main reason i want to do this. Is to help pay expenses i need to pay off, as well as help pay for my addiction(PAINTBALL), quite expensive things. All the feedback and all the help is really appreciated.

Autosurfers arent the 'next big thing,' they are already here and the market is getting saturated. The TGT part is correct though smile.gif

You've got to have $50 SOMEWHERE that you can invest. Sell your hopper, n2 tank and you've got at least $200 to start, you just have to give up with 20BPS for a month. smile.gif

Put the money in TGT for one month and you've already got $120 back, add $80 and you've got your hopper and N2 tank back and you're ready to play again. smile.gif

What the hell were you thinking telling your parents? They dont NEED to know EVERYTHING you're doing. Just take some cash, throw it in some programs and if it pays awesome, if you lose it all atleast you know you made a good gamble. You're old enough to make the decision. Is it worth risking $200 for $120 a month for the next year? You bet it is, go for it.
