Just wondering if anyone can help me.

I have 2 questions.

1. Lets say I have 10 000 songs, and I know I have a few songs where there is doubles, just named a little differently. Instead of spending hours and hours trying to find these, Is there any program out there that can find these doubles? Any advice?

2. I notice that windows media player, when you turn on shuffle, it doesnt shuffle the songs really well. Is there another audio player out there that anyone can recommend?

Cheers for the info in advance smile.gif

For number 1...I think iTunes is able to do something like that. I know I happened to locate all of my double files. I didn't really use the feature though to delete my files, because I didn't trust it. I didn't want it wiping out my whole library.

As for players, all of my friends use iTunes. I only use winamp. It's lighter than winamp and more customizable. With some plug-ins, you're able to get some better and customized sounds to your speakers. I only use Windows Media Player to watch movies. It just depends on what kind of program that you become accustomed to and where your preferences are.

iTunes Rocks handling a large database of music and it's pretty cool....
Winamp uses less resources on the computer but it's a little difficult to organize a large database

Perhaps there is no solution other than Winamp.
