Hmmm, do you want us to pray to God or to E-gold...

camidu64, you wrote this message on the greediest forum of the entire Internet. sad.gif Barosani - the typical member of our community. sad.gif
The author does not ask our money, but only our moral support!

Anyway, I will pray for your son, camidu64. God bless your family!

PS: I know, that this is impossible, but it would nice if the theme would be stuck. Or nobody could see it…
I will write here later.

I don't think it's fair to say that MMG members are greedy and are typical of one members assinine comment. If you had been a member of MMG for any length of time you would know that there are many caring and supportive members here. Of course the theme here is money making, but it does not mean that every member is greedy, so please do not judge everyone the same.

Carlos,
God Bless your son and the doctors as they work to help him. Keep us updated please.

I know of 2 people who have Crohns Disease.

It is a nasty disease, but can be managed.
As I understand it, every case is different, but over time a diet and regime can be worked out to allow the person to live a fairly normal life.

My thoughts are with your child, and your family

so sorry to hear that..i know that has to be heartbreaking for you. sad.gif how old is your son?

You are absolutely right. It was not very polite... But sometimes emotions and senses manage my life. Especially in such situation...
Excuse me, if I offended someone.

And thank you, for movement of this thread. I hope it will bring a help.

Here is another member who will pray for your son.
God bless you and your family.

Greedy? The members of MMG? I don't think so!

You need to go back and read some of the post from the members that have been here from the beginning of this forum. We were (and still are) the best when it comes to helping others. Whether it be spiritual, moral or monetary.

What Barosani posted does NOT reflect the attitude of all of the MMG members,
as you can see he is quiet new to this forum. He will see in days, weeks, months, however long it takes,
that we all are a team and we treat each other with respect and dignity.

camidu64, You can always count on me and I think I can include the rest of the MMG members as well, to do all we can for you.
Our prayers are with you and your son.

I myself know how devastating this disease is as one of my family members suffers from the same disease.

May God bless

HI camidu64!
This may sound odd to you, but the first thread I saw today when I opened MMG was this one of yours. I think it is a divine appointment for me. I will certainly pray for your son. I am very thankful that you posted this here, as I also have Crohn's Disease.

I think that it is very fortunate that you have found a diagnosis for him. That was my biggest struggle was finding what was wrong and getting a name for it so that I could research it myself. I have had Crohn's disease for many years but was only correctly diagnosed about 7-8 years ago and was placed on a drug program then...... But have been living NATURALLY very well with it for about the last 3 years Drug FREE.

I know that when it is at it's worst, Dr.'s will prescribe many different things, I am not saying the drugs are wrong at all, but most resolve to prednisone (steriods) and some type of anti-inflammitory/sulfadine drug as well as several others and some antibiotics to keep back the infection. When I was diagnosed, I was placed on these prescriptions for some time. The disease did not seem to get much better, but it did seem to keep things moderately under control, but at the risk of the incredible side effects, it became difficult for me to justify and wondered which was worse, the disease itself or the side effects of the drugs. Some people have no problems with the drugs, but it does not work for everyone and I was hospitalized 3 1/2 years ago when it almost took my life.

I started to seek a more NATURAL approach to Crohn's disease at this time and after digging for a great length of time I found what works for me. Because Crohns is so closely related to Celiacs disease and Colitis, I found the diets for those and started to read what I could on those and learned that some of the dietary changes for those diseases worked for me.
Basically, I immediately eliminated all cow dairy from my diet. I can tolerate goat milk, soy milk and rice milk very well. I am not sure where you live, but many can even find these cheeses that are simply wonderful. I also eliminated all gluten and ALL cereal grains from my diet... no wheat or rye at all. I find that even if I eat something with a tiny hidden amount in it, I am mildly ill the next day. I find that whole grains such as brown rice, quinoa, oatmeal, buckwheat, pure soba noodles, brown rice pastas and thier flours do very well for me. I eliminated all processed foods and eat a lot of fresh fruits and veggies and healthy protiens.
Along with all of this... there is an AMAZING herb called boswellian which is an India herb that controls the inflammation and really is incredible, a few weeks with boswellian, some good fashioned probiotics, some rebuilding vitamins and minerals and making a few food changes and I was off my medications completely.

I do have a lot more information to share with you regarding vitamins and minerals to help to repair his immune system and colon that I can email or PM you if you so desire as I feel I have posted WAY more about this than I intended. Very few people know of the disease and would not understand the struggles of finding what works.
I have been doing very well with this disease the last almost 4 years since making these changes and my colonoscopies have been coming back with very good results. smile.gif

Hi camidu64, sorry, I do not know about crohn's disease to help. But I do know how worrying it is when your child is not well. I hope you've found some ways out.

All the best to you and your family. And be strong!

Carlos, you and your family are in my prayers!

My 3 year-old son was recently diagnosed with Epilepsy. His seizures (thank God) are now under control with the proper medication, but watching him have those seizures ripped my wife's and my heart out! The poor little guy didn't know what was happening to him, and that was heartbreaking! Hopefully, they will find an effective treatment with your son, and he will recover completely. Believe me, I empathize with you!

My prayers go out to Kenny and your family.
