by STP to convert your Ebullion, Egold, Pecunix or Liberty Reserve to STP

exercise caution with this I didn't know they use aol email either come to think of it

that I've seen anyway, jmo better to be safe than sorry

LGE is not the only approved STP exchanger - nor have we made a big deal out of the fact that STP themselves refer people to our site.

Just to clarify some points in response to some previous posts.

As u may know STP did previously except both ebullion and egold for funding purposes and this service was available up until a few weeks ago when the service was discontinued. The reason for this as stated by STP was that "due" new contracts with both credit and debit card companies STP was no longer able to continue this service.

London Gold Exchange formely approached STP with a view to providing the service, as a result of that approach LGE "IS NOW" officially dealing with STP and with official STP approval, LGE now also has a verified STP account. But the LGE website will not be updated for this purpose until Jan 08 at the earliest.

In the meantime a blog has been set up by LGE to allow LGE members (or anyone else) to request conversions of ecurrency before Jan if they wish to.

I do not work for LGE myself, I simply post this info for the benifit of any forum members who wish to fund their STP accounts via an ecurrency conversion.

I usually post as ukmikec

I trust this will suffice!

I'm actually having trouble logging into STP today. Anyone else??? This is what i get:

As a result of recent security upgrades, your login was not successful.

Please contact our support department at 705 738 9402 or email support@solidtrust.info. Please remember to include your UserName in any correspondence. And, as always, thank you!

And it figures it would happen today of all days, when I'm expecting a large payment

For what I read, STP set up a new security feature that detects different IPs when trying to log in.

It is a problem for those people with dynamic IPs. Not sure how STP will handle this matter but other people contacted them and had their problem solved.

Whether it is a permanent solution or not, we don´t know yet.

SolidTrust Pay has checked out the BLOG link as posted. This is a fraudulent attempt to scam members. Do NOT send ANY EGOLD or other GOLD currency to this individual. STPay does NOT officially sanction, prefer or refer any one exchanger over another. It should be completely obvious that blindly sending EGold to anyone and hoping they will send you anything in return is foolish. This individual is NOT providing a LondonGoldExchange website option where you can login to your account there and initiate a transaction through a secured area.

I REPEAT - THIS IS A SCAM ATTEMPT -

CVKINT,

Sorry to get involved in this little spat but I would like to redirect you (if possible) to asking for some assistance? (trading advice) If possible?

Hi there..I'm New to this site..I've read alot of forums and came across this one. I liked what you've had to say. Let me give you a bit of my background in regards to trading.

I have a couple of friends that trade in stocks. They've wasted alot of money. You know, buying newsletters on trades that make money but the newsletters cost way more than most of the trades recover! I spoke with one person who traded futures and it sounded very interesting. Stocks just don't really interest me. So I started doing some research on the net. Any of my friends that I speak to about commodities tell me that the risk is way too high and that you can't make money unless you have alot of capital. Well, maybe they're right, But I thought that I would do some research and see whats what. It has been an interesting search looking for information about futures trading on the net! There has been no end to trading programs and systems/courses that are happy to take your money and gaurantee "BIG GAINS". Fortunately, I do know that if it sounds too good to be true it really is.

I live in British Columbia, Canada, just across the border from Washington state. (just to give you a heads up on my "time zone" for trading purposes.) I would consider myself a "conservative trader" not a thrill seeking high risk trader. I also don't worry about making large mounts of money fast. I will just be happy making small, consistent gains regularly.(compound interest) Now, I don't know if it's possible but I would like to average about 20-30% on my money yearly? I work full time and I start at 1500 hours (PM) and finish at 0230 (AM). I work 4 days on and 4 days off, rotating shifts. example, this week I would work Mon. Tue. Wed. Thurs. with Fri. Sat. Sun. Mon. off. then I would begin on Tue. for 4 more days. I think you get the picture. I have no experience trading futures and very little on trading stocks. I don't know how to use charts for technical analysis or how the news (fundamentals) are used to predict trading results. I would like to begin to learn but am not sure where to start. All of the information out there is overwhelming!

What I have learned from my many hours of reading is that there are certain priciples to trading that are very important.

1) find a system that works and that a person is comfortable with. (it doesn't have to be complicated)

2) test the plan without real money until a person is really comfortable/confident with it. (nothing substitutes real trading)

3) Have a sound money management system and stick to it.

I'm sure that there is more but thats what I've gleaned so far. I don't have the time to trade full time but I would like to trade a few times a week. (i need to be flexable with a very young family and work committments.)

I would really like to be able to manage and invest my own money without the use of a broker or money manager.

There are two systems that have caught my eye.

1) 60 minute trader.

2) futures uncovered.

Now I'm contacting you because you seem to have a great deal of knowledge when it comes to trading futures. You also seem to have an open mind and you don't seem to be stuck on one specific system. I also like the fact that you trade full time. Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought you stated that you traded full time? Anyways, you seem to be quite sincere/knowledgable in your answers and responses to others on this site and also very practical. You also seem to have alot of experience with different trading systems.

I know that there are thousands of good systems out there to trade. I just want to learn one or two simple systems that make consistent wins, so that I can master them before moving onto different systems.

So, do you think that these two systems would suit my trading plan and lifestyle? Or would you recommend something else. I did e-mail the fellow who created the 60 minute trader and he also seemed quite genuine. Not giving me alot of money making hype. He told me that his plan was for the long term and not the get rich quick plan. I liked that answer.

Another thing that I was wondering about was the charting services and commissions. I know nothing about charting services and brokers and commissions except what I've read. Charting services can cost up to 120.00 a month. So with just commissions and charting services you are probably spending a couple of hundred dollars a month? Would the type of trading on these programs even be practical/profitable? How about paper trading systems? Anything out there that I could use to practice trading a systm before I actually use real money? I'm just wondering if the overhead might be a little bit high for my type and inexperience in trading..

Thank you for taking the time to read my lengthy e-mail and forgive me if I don't quite articulate myself well when trying to express my lack of knowledge in regards to trading futures.

If you are using these systems now could you let me know how your experiences have been? Believe me, I know that there is LOTS to learn and that we never stop learning!

Thanks again, sade.

PS. any assistance or advice you could give me would be greatly appreciated.
just want

There are quite many people with this same problem right now.
My account was blocked and Stella solved this issue for me in acouple hours after emailing support.

Now they sent this email earlier today:

Dear SolidTrust Pay Member,

As many of you have noticed, we are currently experiencing some database inaccuracies in our password login tables. Although we have been resetting members passwords, as soon as they logout, the password flips to the secondary password on file. The last logged IP address is also reverting to an old one. We cannot determine if this is due to a recent power outage at our server resulting in SQL errors or an IP detection system installed over the weekend. We are working with our programmer to resolve this issue as quickly as possible.

We fully understand that this has caused great inconvenience to our merchants and members, as many of you are experiencing login difficulties.

As soon as we have resolved the matter, you will be notified when you can login again. We will be restoring all login passwords as contained in the most recent backup before the database started experiencing difficulties.

Your patience is appreciated. We hope to have everything back to normal within 24 hours. We do ask that you refrain from sending in a support ticket so that we can devote all our time to technical support.

Latest update from Gary who has been appointed P2P rep at MCF:

Good Day Everyone:

First, I have talked with Nick and he has now heard back from Stella. biggrin.gif There will be an AlertPay and STP mass payout happening shortly, then Nick has to go into town to do some banking, and when he returns there will be yet another mass payout happening this evening.

Second, can we please drop all this talk about going private. Many do not realize that Nick DOES have a cap on how much he can piggy back on his investments. This is why he has turned away some very large investors who have approached him. If he allowed say someone with 100k to join , that would eliminate space for 4 people(possible max of 25k each). The time will come when Nick will not be taking more investors, but until that time, lets let Nick do things as he sees fit.

Finally, as you can well imagine, I have been bombarded with PM's, emails and issues in the support thread. Please be patient. I am doing the best I can. Much of what needs to be done depends on Nicks free time to do so.......as you all know, his free time is not abundant. I woke up to 16 PM's today asking me why there issue has not been resolved yet and 30 others asking questions. Please do NOT PM me asking when issues will be fixed. You will know when your issue is fixed.

Thank you to everyone for your continued patience and enjoy your payouts today !!!!

Onwards and Upwards !!!

Gary,
angusmitch

Yes, I received my first payout to my Alert Pay account.

Those of you in the UK and Eurozone can now fund Alert Pay by bank transfer with little or no fee, depending on the amount. You then just click on "Manage" in your account and exchange your currency into dollars. Brilliant!

hi, your question is directed to someone else but I can answer your question.

If you read the info at the p-2-p site you will see that Nick looked for a way to manage funds in an online setting and an hyip script that the everpresent scammers use was the best option. So with a little modification it was ready to go.

My investment here started last July, withdrew my first profit of 60% for some payables and rolled over the rest repeatedly until now.
