Thanks a lot for the answer.

I think it would be great if admin thought about adding LR as a payment option.

You are welcome.

I don´t think LR will be an option since Energy Bank launching very soon and its debit card ( Mastercard ) will be the only possible way to spend/withdraw.
We will be able to fund Energy Bank through STP but I am not sure if doing it via other payment processors will be possible.
Actually we don´t know much yet but we will keep this thread up to date with more info for sure.

I will continue supporting this program using my AlertPay account. Thank god it could be used to exchange with E-gold. E-currency rocks. biggrin.gif

I'm not sure if Alert Pay will still be an option, once the Energy Debit Card is available.
Hopefully we will know more soon.

I haven't, but I have seen posts of some that have. I also believe that this was launched
in February sometimes, because thats when I first heard of it, but like an idiot, didn't
join then. LOL

Somebody please help!
When will the minimum go up to $100?
What is meant by verification in STP?
Can unverified members convert E bullion to STP?
When the debit card card comes in, will it be free?
Will the debit card be for withdrawal only or for deposit as well?

Somebody please help!
When will the minimum go up to $100?
31st October 2007, i.e. tomorrow!

What is meant by verification in STP?
When you first register with STP you are unverified. To get verified and have access to all funding options you need to follow the verification links - basically you need to scan in your main passport page with its photograph and the front page of a recent bank statement which shows your address and bank address. You can upload these from the site. They are manually verified by STP and then you get "verified" status.

Can unverified members convert E bullion to STP?
Possibly - the other deposit options are clearly marked "verified users only" - no mention of this against e-Bullion

When the debit card card comes in, will it be free?
Unlikely - another forum has mentioned $30 but this isn't confirmed

Will the debit card be for withdrawal only or for deposit as well?
Think it'll be withdrawal only - you'll fund your account via STP as P2P has a very good relationship with STP

haveplentybucks

Hope this helps!

BTW - really enjoying watching the interest going up on my investment in P2P - only been in for 2 days but can already see this changing our lives. Nick certainly seems a very genuine guy which adds to my confidence in this program.

Hi there,
there is no 90 day plan at P2P, the longest plan is 60 days.
The program started on February 1st and many of us have been paid over and over since that time. biggrin.gif

I did everything but to fund my STP using my Card, but found that MASTER cards are not allowed. Sent an email to support @ STP and waiting for reply.

Will I be able to top up my P2P with 100 bucks, MyGirl?
There is a great risk of loosing it at the last time

jimmcnic, I think you are a bit off here: the card can be funded with STP and your P2P account can be funded with the card.

Not sure I understand your question, mgorcl? Are you active yet at P2P (investment running)?
If so, it shouldn't be a problem to increase your level to meet the new minimum. Maybe you can clarify?

I see there´s something here that´s not clear.

This is how it will work:

1) Your own Mastercard will not work to fund P2P mgorcl. Nick will provide with that mastercard that we are talking about here and there´s nothing STP will have to do with this. It´s Nick who will give us that card. In case you accept this, you will then have TWO Mastercard debit cards mgorcl. ( Your current one and your P2P Mastercard debit card provided by Nick and the only one that you will need to fund/withdraw from P2P. We will have to go through some verification process with Nick in order to be given our new debit card.

2) Once we have that card, we will be able to fund it through STP. What we don´t know yet is if we will be able to move funds the other way around ( This is: debit card -> STP )

3) Everyone with a STP should be verified with them. The instructions for verification purposes is explained in STP account. This STP verification has nothing to do with P2P.

4) Those who currently have less than $100 invested in P2P, would reach their $100 minimum by starting/rolling over a $40 position in the 60 day plan in case this was possible. ( $40 @ 260%= $104 after 60 days ) but all this ONLY if you do it today or tomorrow since October 31st will be the last day the script will allow you to invest less than $100.

5) The use of this debit card will be mandatory for P2P members. Those who don´t accept this rule will be able to cashout through STP/AP once their plans mature. Then leaving the program will be innevitable but they WILL BE PAID.

The process will be slow I guess. There will be members who will roll their plans over and will wait to purchase the card but once they have rolled over after October 31st this, this will be understood as the acceptance of the new debit card rule.

It is important that members who don´t accept this rule request cashout to their STP/AP accounts as soon as their plan/plans mature and don´t spend again.

Whewww, such long post...LOL hope it is clear and helps tongue4.gif

EDITED: ANother possibility for those who have less than $100 in their accounts and want to continue with P2P.
Since the script will allow deposits of less than $100, you will be able to deposit the difference to reach your $100.
Say your plan matured and you have $60 in your "Account Balance" Then the script will allow you to deposit $40 to have a $100 Account Balance and then you can purchase your $100 investment plan from there.

Oh, I see. Well, if you have $100 to spend, there is no need to rush. If you want to get in with a lower amount, today is the last day the script will allow that! If you start low, then after your first plan matures, you can add fresh funds to reach the $100 minimum, as IVM suggests above.

Happy to report I got paid to my Alertpay acct today - my first payment. Pending from October 22. Looking forward to a lot more.

Re verification - you would think if we were verified with STP, we would not have to go through that again for the P2P card? It would save Nick & co a lot of work if they could just check who's a verified STP member, seeing we'll have to send in the same docs. Just an idea! dry.gif

Are there any fellow UK members of P2P that have a good strategy for withdrawing their P2P earnings into their UK bank accounts? Only way I can see so far is to use STP then eBullion and London Gold Exchange which racks up 10% in fees. Obviously I'd like to minimise this if possible!

Yeah that makes sense, but I'm just thinking about what happens if I max out my account and have $18,000ish dollars to deposit each month (based on the strategy I have in mind). That's going to take a lot of trips to the ATM to take out cash and then pay it into my UK account.

Just wondering if it will be possible to do some kind of international bank transfer.

There should be lots of ways to move funds around with this card from within the back-office available with the card. The card is an off-shore debit card so should work with locations worldwide.

Hi E2L,

I am not the foremost authority on this, but I believe Nick is bringing out his own debit card attached to the Mastercard line. It will be under the name "Energy Bank" I believe. As I understand it, in the future this will be the only way to fund/withdraw from P2P (though I have heard rumors STP will fund the card for you). Hope this helps...

Hi James, I have been looking into this too as I am from the UK. I agree the fees are steep through LGE. On this basis I emailed Stella at SolidTrustPay to ask if they could wire my UK bank account directly with my funds and this was the reply:-

Just send us a recent bank statement from the bank that you will be requesting to (and be sure to mention that you would like International Bank Verification status) and we'll get you all set up. Be sure to click on Add Bank Accounts and submit your information there as well.

So maybe this is the way to go. regards Sarah.

Well, from STP I can transfer to my Paypal acct (they now have an Australian branch) and from there it's a straight bank transfer. Don't know if it's cheaper doing it this way than a bank wire. By the time I want to do this - we will probably have P2P energy bank in place.

Lol, I think we are still on earth, eager tongue4.gif

OC is going with a VM card and it looks like I will be able to use my own card there.
I know I posted in the OC thread that I would not go with an 'in house' processor ever again but ..... I changed my mind about this one. Since my initial deposit is modest and my account has grown quite nicely since I started out here, I am going to go with the P-2-P Energy Bank plus debit card after all. This program is just too good to pass up.

I have requested one last (?) payment to STP (will post when paid), after that I expect my monthly withdrawals to start in February, with the debit card "at my local ATM" biggrin.gif

You should really keep track of what is posted at MyCashForum because not every update reaches all the other forums.

PS. Thanks for joining that other program under me. Still not sure about this one? wink.gif

Thanks for that Sarah - very useful to know - be interesting to find out what their fees for that will be.

Paypal is also a viable option. but might work out very expensive compared with the bank wire.

Still - got plenty of time to work out how to do it! So Energy Bank might have the option I need.

STP -> PayPal costs 4.5% + $0.50 and the transfer is allowed as long as you have a verified Paypal account.
I have transfered STP -> PayPal and the other way around more than once and it is really fast.
Stella asked for a screenshot of my PayPal back office to make sure it is a verified account but this was just the first time I transferred.

It is fast specially if you send Stella funds already sitting in your payPal account since there´s no need to wait for the funds to clear and the money is credited in your STP really fast.
If not, then you will have to wait around three days but it works very well anyway. smile.gif

I am not sure if this is possible but either way you´d better contact support with a clear explanation in my opinion. I think Nick will agree based on other members doing this in the past. But chances are that in case you started a 30 day plan you will already have your debit card by that time.

Now, the program has grown too much lately and going through some "growing pains" and they need to catch up. You will have to be patient while waiting for their reply.

In the signup page and where it says egold, just add 0000000.
It doesn´t matter that you can´t add your STP account there.

Later and when you make your deposit from within your back office, you will find the STP option in the drop down menu.

Cool, thanks for the reply.
I am trying to sign up under you here as well but I am having trouble activating the deposit function. Got a support ticket going.

Just me thinking out loud here, but if anyone can help it would be appreciated.

I used STP to upgrade here and withdraw as well. When it goes to energy bank, I know there will be a debit card available, but how will us Aussie's deposit... is it the only way we will be able to?

Seems Stella has bent over backwards to help Nick, now she will be cut out of the picture..

I am being very cautious here due to the "in house payment processor" I have been there before, without good results!

We will be able to fund the new debit card through STP. This is what Nick said in one of his latest updates:

"The P-2-P Energy Bank card will allow you to make deposits into your P-2-P account easily, receive withdrawals in a very timely fashion and even fund your card using SolidTrustpay, AlertPay and ACH bank transfers.
You will be able to use the cards at all ATM's around the world in your own currency--thereby eliminating the need for processors and saving you the cost of additional fees."

What we don´t know is if the other way around will be possible as well.

Not too much info as of yet I must say.

And yup, been there before. This is why I also changed my strategy and now I w/d my seed money.
Nothing against the program and/or Nick or I would have never participated here but I prefer to have some discipline this time.
