Well, someone indeed did tattle to Chris. Then, my P2P account was suspended and Chris asked if I wanted a refund. I told him yes, because I had not violated the TOS, yet they act as if I did and they suspended my account, and I no longer wanted to be in this program because the management and some members act like the Gestapo. So, then he writes back and tells me since I am in profit I don't get a dime back (I had 4 pending payouts and one new investment). No refund if you are in profit. Be sure and read the fine print, I didn't. Still, I wouldn't have done anything different. It just shows how greedy they are to me. That's okay. What goes around will come around.

You ask questions they don't like, you stand up for yourself, they want to be rid of you. They don't allow any dissent.

Let this be a lesson to all. Just keep your mouths shut, take whatever they dish out, and get paid when ever they feel like paying you.

I learned of the program from a friend. I thought it was such a good program, until the payouts stopped being paid within any sensible amount of time. Until, I began to read some of the forums. Where is this money coming from if not from other members? If Nick and P2P are invested in real businesses, what are they, where are they? Why are they not being made public?

If I am wrong about this, and there is indeed a list of businesses our money has been invested in, I stand corrected and I hope someone can point me to it. If there is such a list, then indeed, you may be right about P2P going strong 2 years down the line. If not, then how do you propose this will happen?

Well, assuming your references to 'Pansy' and 'her' refer to me[1], then I can happily add my vote here and now that I will "eat [my] toilet and disappear when p2p payments are all caught up". As I have said I will unbolt it from the floor, break it into small pieces, set up a video camera, and then record myself swallowing the pieces one by one. I am also happy to agree to 'disappear', i.e. stop posting here, or to agree to anything else you care to suggest. Heck, I'll even offer to come along with you on the 'adventure' I suggest for you in the footnote below and babysit you[2] if you like.

Now, the reason I'll happily agree to all this is, quite simply, that I know that p2p payments are never going to be "all caught up" ever. Right now p2p is displaying "Server Time: Jul 29 2008 02:10", and the most recent date for which requested payments have been made is June 10th, putting us 49 days behind now and counting. Tomorrow it'll be 50 days, and within the next two weeks payments will be two months in arrears. Two months! Has that not sunk in yet? Boy, some of you p2p cheerleaders are in very deep. 'Nick' and his apostles seem to have you all hypnotised somehow, which amazes me given how poor his, and the rest of the team's, presentation skills are.

Yes - I forgot to mention in my post above - assuming I am still alive after eating the toilet I will post the video on YouTube. So, come on 'Nick', getting all paid up to date must be worth it just to get me off your back, surely? Why not hire a few 'temps' from an agency, train them up, and get the backlog cleared. You ought to be able to do that within a week or so, surely? Unless, of course, the problem isn't actually quite as simple as your not having enough headcount to process the requests and has more to do with the fact that this is a spent Ponzi scheme that has so little being paid in these days that it takes you a week to get enough money together now to pay out all the requests made on just one day. Now if that were the case you wouldn't be able to get caught up to date now with all the wishful thinking in the world, however much you, or anyone else, would just love to see the back of me.

Note that I have made this offer many times with respect to other programs in the past that have reached this 'point of no return' so to speak. You will find several such 'offers' here, and even more over at TalkGold (note that there is a space in my name there if you do decide to go search for them). What you may also notice is that, in each and every case where I have done this, the program has always turned out to be a Ponzi scheme with absolutely no chance at all of catching up on payments and paying everyone everything due. Now, those still under 'Nick's' spell will be saying "Maybe those programs were all Ponzi schemes, but p-2-p is different". Ask yourselves this - how is it different? It has lasted quite a long time but it is not the first Ponzi scheme to survive more than a year and it won't be the last. 'Nick' has stated that it is not a Ponzi scheme and that there are 'real' investments, but they all say this. Everyone who has been paid to date has been paid? You can't simply say "everyone has been paid" because of all those people who requested since June 10th who are still waiting (nearly all of whom will wait forever before they receive a penny from p-2-p). Well, it is always the case that Ponzi schemes pay out to pretty much everyone right up until the point when they stop paying. Not that there are not plenty of people who requested payments well before June 10th who have complained of non-payment - witness the early placing of the p-2-p thread into the 'scams' folder over at TalkGold for example.

I've said it before and I'll say it again - p-2-p is a dead Ponzi scheme. It is burnt out - so few people are getting paid now that it is farcical to contemplate payments ever catching up, let alone anyone paying in now to have a hope in hell of seeing any return at all on their 'investment'. The best thing that could happen now would be for the Canadian authorities to take down the site and hand the accounts over to a receiver. I am sadly disappointed that we have seen so little action from them to date; this is the first major Ponzi I've seen operate out of Canada which does beg the question as to what the Ontario Securities Commission spend all those Canadian tax dollars on if they are not having obvious Ponzi schemes like p-2-p shut down. Perhaps their entire budget goes on having everything translated between English and French, leaving them with nothing over to actually enforce the securities laws they were established to uphold in the first place.
