So I was told by the staff of MMG that my Farewell post was clutter? I mean I didn't know that one simple post took up so much bandwidth that it had to be erased. If people didn't care they didn't have to read or respond correct? I thought so.

I mean if your not interested in a thread then you don't read it or you don't respond and it dies away.

Thoughts on this or maybe I'm just way outta line...

We didn't want the general chat section to become a place where people have to wade through numerous goodbye posts. We have many members that leave every day, and there is no need to draw extra attention to it. If you would like to say goodbye to people you have met on MMG, you may PM them privately.
