I'm a huge noob and want to know what all these different types of investment deals are, and how they differentiate between each other. Like can someone give me a description of each one of the following?And can you give me an example of a good program for each one?(one that actually works, and doesn't scam)

HYIPs - in theory were supposed to be investments that had potential to return high yields by taking chances in different investment opportunities. However, they are all ponzis. Usually, no information is given on what they do with the money or any proof of investments. You can basically count on all of these to close up with some members who have actually earned a profit, while the rest have lost money. They usually give commissions to bring more members in to the program to keep it going.

AutoSurfs - Basically the same thing as HYIPs, but most are slightly different. First, most of them allow for new money to come in based on advertising. Since members earn their money daily by viewing ad rotations, there is the potential to have websites advertise on the AutoSurf and have their website in the rotation. However, what you usually get is members advertising other AutoSurfs or HYIPs.

Investment (non HYIP) - These kinds of investments usually show proof of their investments, and are more open to the members about what is being done with their money. They usually have realistic figures of investments made based upon their investments. This does not guarantee that they will not scam, but generally these are safer, but caution is needed here also.

Referral, MLM, Network Marketing - These are based off of getting others in your downline. Having others buy into a system. Some are just pyramids of having others join and getting those others to join, and having the top of the pyramid enjoy all of the benefits. Others are based off of buying and selling products, and having other a downline of other marketers also doing the same thing. This is good if you're able to have a good team or if you are able to get others to join under you.

Money Cyclers - These are programs where the members monies are pooled into an account and then are paid out to whatever the program dictates. Mostly, in this category, you will find doublers or bubble scripts or matrices, but this is generally what HYIPs have become. There is no money brought into the pool other than members funds, so there is no investment or language of investments.

Get Paid To - usually, all the money given to members is based off of advertising. Ways of making money is usually reading e-mail advertisements, clicking on ads, doing surveys, or signing up for trial packages, etc. All the money comes from the advertisers usually, so expect the pay to be quite low.
