Wang Zhendong has been sentenced to death in Liaoning province, in China. His company fraudulently raised 3bn yuan ($390m; £200m), making claims to investors of returns of up to 60%. At least one investor committed suicide when he realized he'd been duped.

I have never thought that a scammer could get a death sentence. Different countries different laws, if in my country i think most probably they will be fined and jailed.

I think that kind of money could go towards quite a good of team lawyers, perhaps he could even buy his freedom if it was another country.

Yikes that is harsh. Every country is different and each has its pros and cons.

I don't think that is harsh. No one should have to ever be scammed. This should be like this in every country, that way we wouldn't have people being scammed. Some folks don't realize that some of the people that are being scammed are poor and they are living off of hopes and dreams that they can get themselves out of that situation.Especially for the elderly folks who can no longer work and barely making enough money to live off of.

I'm sure the securities and exchange commission would love to know you copied and pasted from their site into your ad laden site. I assume you got permission for it? harhar.gif

Lol- in California in the USA you can't even kill someone for being a mass-murderer. They just sit in jail forever, appealing to their little hearts' desire.
tootsie
maybe not death but I think a hand or both hands would be good like in the old days the punishment for stealing butcher.gif

In China, the law is not easy with guys that break law. But I don't know if death sentence is a good idea. A lot of innocent people can die this way too. Government shouldn't take away something that they can't give back.

I thinkthe guy scammed in offline business and not online..

In some countries egold is not legit itself, so scammers are not easily found..

Would that be too harsh a sentence for a hacker ?
