Why do we need em and what are they doing!!!!!

I just think it allows scamming admins to spy on members and have a little laugh at what they say in their absence!!!!

I take it that you're referring to anonymous logins. An anonymous login is not invisible to admins or moderators. They're really the only ones that need to know who is in a thread.

I disagree why do we need anonymous people in threads....? It allows admins that have scammed to spy on the member who have been scamed!

Actually...I have been logging in anonymous ever since the MES stuff. I just got so burned out on everyhting that it was my way of dealing with it. Different people have different reasons I guess..I can't explain why I did it, but I just changed my roboform to logging in that way until I start feeling better about things..maybe it's a girl thing..maybe it's..oh who knows? So, I'm not a scamming admin, I'm a have been scammed member that just got sick of everything. (I'm going to change it next time I log in though!)

Well, that's kind of a paranoid point of view, thinking that anonymous members are hyip admins that are spying on members. lol

Basically, they ARE members who wish not be shown in the threads they are viewing. With your point of view, you should probably be more concerned with the "guests" that are viewing the thread because they are not logged in, and possibly not members of MMG who are "spying" on members.

When I'm on the computer, I am constantly multi-tasking my web browsing. Basically, I can have up to 10-20 tabs open on my browser, and I may forget that I'm in an MMG thread. There are even times where I was logged in and going to reply to a post, and must have been distracted by another thought and forgot to finish my post. For hours, it had my name in the bottom in italics and underlined showing that I was going to make a post. With an anonymous login, I really don't have to worry about that.

I'm the kind of person where I would rather have my words in a post do the talking for me, rather my reading or browsing of a forum thread.

I have busted alot of scammers in the past and it just makes it easier to read the threads without them knowing I was there and actually compiling info against them.

I love using it now because I can read threads and not get bothered. It's just habit now.

i love sometimes that option too but we can always track when someone was online in profil - there is Last Active anyways i don't care of scammers they could watch us as guest

Yeah you sound way too paranoid/nervous. It would be just as easy for the anonymous person to log out and be a guest. It really means nothing.

This is a public forum, I don't realy think there is a way to regulate this. Even if they disable the Anon. feature there are other ways for scammers to spy

thats true, if you crack the password for admin the forum with john the ripper maybe you could just login and watch everything

... Better, it would be just as easy for the anonymous Admin Scammers to create another Username to login and continue scamming people. So ...

You don't even have to do that, a scammer has means to use an alternate username for spying...

Well not sure about others but I would log under anon user whenever I face slow connection or unstable wireless connection as it allows me to browse MMG faster

One cancels the other out ?

IHMO, some log in anonymously so they can stay & read on a certain thread longer
and not be known that he doesn't have a life outside MMG!
