What would you do if I told you there was a $20 bill laying in your front yard?

A. Stay in the house and watch TV.

B. Argue with your sister about whose job it is to pick up money in the front yard.

C. Beat everyone out the front door so you can be the first the find the $20.

Of course you would immediately rush out and find that $20.

Why ask such a silly question?

Because your neighborhood is full of $20 bills just waiting for you.

No, there probably aren't any $20 bills laying in front yards.

You'll find the $20 bills I'm talking about in the form of money-making opportunities:

yards to mow, cookies to bake, pools to clean, pets to groom, or children to help with math.

Opportunity is constantly changing.
Winter opportunities disappear as spring arrives.
Summer opportunities are different from fall opportunities.
Jobs that need to be done this week may not be available next week.
But you will never run out of ideas to add to your opportunity list.

There will always be new money-making opportunities to replace those that are used up.

Watch for these five signs of money-making opportunities in your neighborhood.

1. Look for Things People Are Too Busy to Do--We live in a busy world.
People don't have time to iron shirts, polish furniture, paint fences, bake birthday cakes,
or decorate for the holidays. Look for services that will give your customers more time to enjoy life.

2. Look for Things People Don't Like to Do--Everyone has chores they hate:
washing windows, pulling weeds, cleaning the oven, bathing the dog, or organizing the garage.
Specialize in taking care of a job no one likes to do, and you will always have plenty of customers.

3. Look for Things That Get Dirty Over and Over--Almost everything gets dirty:
cars, boats, pools, parking lots, driveways, golf clubs, floors, bathrooms.
Cleaning is a money-making opportunity that can never be used up.

4. Look for Things People Throw Away--Outgrown clothes, toys, books, puzzles,
games, household items, and recyclables are great for garage sales, toy sales, book sales
or recycling projects. These money-making enterprises are good for our environment
and our community.

5. Look For Ways to Use Your Special Talent or Experience--Create your own business based on something you do well.

You might build skate ramps, start a band, give dog obedience lessons, teach Spanish, or specialize in helping the elderly. Getting paid to do something you enjoy is like getting paid to have fun.

the most important sign you are making money and not losing it is to watch the way you feel.

if you look at the good things you have, you are in a way to riches, but if you focus on the bad things,
like past failures and sense of poverty, they will happen to you and you'll keep losing.

you have to understand that when you give your money to strangers it is a risk,
and one of the strangers once told me not to trust strangers.
should I trust him?

after all, he was a stranger harhar.gif

It took me 15 years to beat that ego mistake: "After a win
did you have a strong urge to return and win more?".

real time example:

I just won the Hansa v Freiburg
0 for home and 1 for away

bet was damn good smile.gif (details in my blog) and in the past
I was put the money to another round and lose it all.

now I stop. put the money in the bank first, and spend only half of it
after thanking God and the universe for all the good I have.

I now know how to control this mistake. again, it took me long time
to make this change in me.

It is not coming over night.

Well there are times when trusting a total stranger is the only option there is, i'm not saying HYIPs are the case, but sometimes we have to trust people smile.gif

About Ponzies, I totaly agree that pure-ponzies wil sometime die out (its a mathematical fact), but partial well organized and moderated ponzies with alternate sources of income into the system can survive a long time.

Stranger?

No there is no such thing as a stranger.

There are only people we have yet to meet.

Even tho I have never met you in person I do not think of you as a stranger.
But as an "online friend" that I can converse with, share with and trust
you to understand me and how I may feel at the time.

That's a very nice way of looking at it, but thinking of how many scammers are out there to ruin the fun for us all I would find it quite difficult to trust everyone.

I've got to know quite a lot of people on MMG and I'm sure none of them would scam me or anyone else for instance, but if they do? Who's there to blame? Me, or anyone else who trusted them. As well as the scammers themselves who betrayed that trust and used it for their own selfish reasons.

I have been scammed, I have had thousands stolen from me, I have been lied to, and I have been cheated.

Trust is something you must earn.

So don't get me wrong, I don't trust everyone, but without trust I would not be able to earn anything
on line. Or off line. We trust the company we work for to pay us otherwise we would not work for them.
We trust the admins of the HYIP's and the Surf sites otherwise we would not put our money into them expecting to get more in return. When I get to the point where I can NOT trust anyone then it's time for me to quit. I try to think positive so positive things will happen. It's not always the fault of the admin that a site fails, some of the responsibility lies with the members.
