Sorry kudabelang and others, too. I´m not in the position to give any more information about that. I'm sure those who know Pete also know her wife and can quite easily confirm what I told here. That is all I want to say about it. I only told this to cut the speculations that they would not be able to contact any of the BTD members.

I live my life happy so I'm always in 'happier' times. I do feel a little down when I find out that a fellow Australian has scammed.
The moment you declare either by your profile or in post that you are an Australian your actions from then on effect all other Australians.


These feelings are because you trusted Pete and sent him your money. You upgraded here not because of your DD on the [cough] investments made but because Pete was an old timer and had gained your trust.
What did you find so attractive about BTD other than Pete being the admin?

The above quote is your misconception in the matter. I upgraded here because I did do my DD on Pete. He really was not hard to trace around the place. Over the conversations had over virtual beers over Messenger we found out a lot about each other. I found him honest and upfront. We rarely ever talked "shop", but about all sorts of things, really relaxing. He had just retired, and settling back into an easier life. I won't disclose our personal conversations, as they are just that. "Personal". I checked out his "old business" and easily discovered that infact he was an importer.. so he certainly had the right contacts for the real business that we were in with BTD. He never made any type of deal with anyone, which many admins try to get more money from you. I laid my cards on the table with him, and so did he. That is why I am very heartbroken with the no contact from at least Mrs. Pete. I have sent emails to the known real emails of Pete and Sally. But to date I really have had no reply.. but everyday I live in hope that someone will reply.



Will I now apologise to HYIPDoctor2... I would really like to know what I have to apologize to him for.

I can also vouch that Pete was an importer. I too had numerous conversations with him when he was ending his business and all that was involved in it. He even sent me some excess stock he had bought in Vietnam, a lovely set of 4 handcarved wooden ducks. He had no need to try and win my trust, or prove anything to me, as at the time I didn't have two cents to rub together, and Pete was well aware of that.

ermm.. its exactly 4 months since pete came in here..
so sad that BTD is in this kind of state..

My last investment to BTD was last July 2007, it would have been 4 months x 125% already.
But I will be glad to have the initial money invested if Pete can still do it.
Not even a single and simple hint was posted until todate.
Oh my, not expecting to have it anymore anyway.

Not naive at all, right on.
There are some admins, who just "leave with peanuts" (if not with the loss!), because once they realize, that most of the programs around, "smell" big time, they want to do things right. The problem is, they lack experience in actually doing it. The reality is different, they are bound to loose to scammers, who have a "luxury" of learning better and better, with every next program they run...

i guess thats it for BTD..
no news from pete or sally for nearly 5 months now..
too bad we didnt know what really happens and no way for us getting the money back..

well im quitting the online arena for now..

Looks as though our Drought Breaking was just a storm.. I am really sorry that it seems to have ended this way. I have tried my darndest to contact Pete's family.. we really need closure, one way or the other. But to me it is that I have lost a mate. I PM'ed Pete today wishing him a Merry Christmas.. but still no reply to any of my emails..

I just want to make it clear here, yes, I had a lot of money with Pete, but for the life of me I can't work out what has gone wrong. Surely Mrs. Pete could contact me if things were that bad. I am a big boy, I can take it. Friendship to me is worth more than money. Yeah, I won't deny that some money at the moment would help my destitute situation in my offline life. Times are tough, but somehow I will work it out. Sacrifices made are slowly getting me over the line. But it is certainly hard only working with 50mb a month from my ISP, but that is the cheapest I could get! Better than nothing.

So chin up Breakers, enjoy your Christmas and look forward to next year.

i miss the old times when all payments are punctual n we all have fun in here..

Pete, you promised me to pay whats due if this program should close. I am in dire need now to pay my son's uni fees. Thank you.

It is amazing to me that Pete was able to skate by with practically no consequence or repercussions of running off with everyone's money. Being able to trust someone that you know is trustworthy is one thing but absolute blind trust that some members showed here just amazes me. Is nobody angry about the loss of their money?? I don't think that Pete should have gotten by so easily!!

I don't know about other members but when i "Gambled" my money in this High Risk Online Program i knew what the risk were and that is why i only spent what i could afford to lose, i lost a fair chunk here but it was all profit from other online programs so i can still feed the family.

This and PV Investments were the last of these kamikaze flip a coin type programs that i put my hard earned money in, i now trade forex and have complete control of losing my own money......He He He.......

So i just laugh when i see people jumping up and down about losing money in these types of High Risk programs as if they where in some Guaranteed legal investment fund, if you can't afford to gamble with your money then don't hang around a Hyip forum.......

Well, I am disappointed and angry. But what can I do? Tell me and I will do it ... Pete assured me several times that whatever happens he will pay me ...

Obviously trusting a trustworthy person is also not right ...

There is only one thing that you can do jamm, learn form your mistakes and move on!

Here is a saying for you "when I point the finger of blame three fingers are always pointed back at me!"

I lost plenty here but in the end the buck stops with me, i wasn't forced by anyone to invest here and i new the risk.

Most things you can put behind you and move on. But this is one that I can't. This time of year for me, gets me down.. many memories from the past, not too many good ones.

I feel in a way responsible that you got away scot-free here, our BTD family was such a great bunch of people. I had no idea that you had the capability to do what you did to us all. I know others were concerned for your health, and I was worried sick, now seems all well orchestrated or was temptation too much..you left some mighty big footprints on the www.. I won't go into details.. that is gone, but not forgotten. But you know, I actually feel sorry for Pete, as you has to live the remainder of your life looking over your shoulder.. There is no threat from me, but one day you might just run into somebody that knows you. You used me Pete, like a pawn in your game. That is the part that is really hurting.. not the money. Of course I am disappointed. Yes, good old Dorky..you have no idea how much this is still eating at me.

Pete I know you are walking around the halls of MMG..I feel it. There is no way you can walk away from this industry.. you may for awhile, but you come back. Of course you will have another identity..so
