Thanks for that Pierre. The more we know about Pete virus, the more understanding members may be about his circumstance. He is definately in the right place... hospital, where he is getting the treatment he needs.
I know we all miss him, but that is just not a bandaid fix. Pete needs to rest and recover to get this under control.
We all miss you Pete. My thoughts are with you and your family, but don't worry about us. Our priority is that we want you back healthy.

This is going to sound strange, but earlier in the week I had something knock me on my butt and I swore it was West Nile Virus. I had chills, horrible night sweats, one long 4 day headache, I was hot, and I ached all over. West Nile does exist in my area and I had been bitten by a few mosquitos in the previous weeks. Luckily, I am in fairly good health and at the lower end of "middle-aged" so I was able to bounce back pretty quick. I didn't go to the doctor as I did recover in a reasonable amount of time, but I wouldn't be surprised to find out I had it. It was Horrible!! My thoughts, too, are with you and your family, Pete! All my best for a speedy recovery.

I know that it has just been over a week since Mrs. Pete contacted me, but I have not had any contact since.
I have just sent an email respecting their private lives but asking for some sort of update.
As I have said before, I will forward any news as soon as I get it.

Update on Pete.
I received a reply from Mrs. Pete.
She said,It seems that the RRV seems to have been the trigger for other and more serious problems, Pete is a tough old bird, and seldom lets us know if he is ill or not over the past two months he has been far sicker than we have been led to believe. He has a leaking valve in his heart, and this week he is booked in for an angiogram, to check for arterial blockages. He very worried about this procedure. Because Pete has been a smoker, he has needed to get back to a strong enough position, before any thing can be done. He is improving slowly but surely.
This is a very trying time for Pete and his family, and of course I asked that Mrs. Pete let Pete know we were all wishing him well, and not to worry about us and that everything is fine here in the thread. As I have said before we want “Captain Breaker” back healthy. He is in good hands where he is in hospital, getting the treatment he needs.

Life's like that sometimes, the RRV may of just saved Pete's life.
He may of been heading for a major heart attack but now they are going to go in and clean him up and hopefully he will be as fit as a bull in know time.
My mum was a smoker all her life and had a couple of heart attacks about 10 years ago but since then she has stopped smoking and controlled her weight plus kept up a gentle exercise program and hasn't looked back.
We are thinking of you Pete.

But he is not going anywhere, and when he does get back to the thread, I am sure he will be proud of us behaving ourselves. Pete truly is possibly to best admin a program ever had. He is one of us. Obviously we're all "concerned" for the money we have tied up here, but let's try to keep our eye on the ball. I think above all Pete's health is the important thing nowadays. Would I like to get back to earning 25% a month? Hell yes! But more importantly I want Pete back at full steam. Remember, without Pete there is no BTD. This isn't just another out of the box, scripted HYIP. This is an actual money-making venture with live business deals and a man with know-how steering the ship. If Pete goes away I guarantee there won't be another Admin able to take his place. Put your energy into positive thoughts for Pete's well-being for now... Pete has never let us down before and I don't believe he has any intentions to start. I suggest we all just give him what he needs most: some stress-free time to get well.

At the end of the day Zed it doesn't matter how many post you deliver with negative overtones it will not make the outcome change as BTD is not a ponzi and doesn't need new members or new spends to survive.
At this point i am more concerned with Pete's health then the $8,000 odd that i have in BTD as i am not emotionally attached to any money that i invest, the bottom line is if something happens to any money i have invested anywhere i will still be able to pay my bills and support my family so i suggest that anyone that can't do that should be putting there money under there pillow or in the bank!

I do not care how much money u put in. I do not care if you are or are not emotionally attached to any money you invest. Those are your money and you do whatever you want with it.
However, I do care about the money that I put in, not that I cant survive without it but just for ur information whether you care or not it is just a very tiny fraction of what I have.

I totally agree, C.L. I am sure that certain things have lapsed during Pete's hospital stay and if the site's hosting is one of them, so be it. Pete will get it all straightened out when he can. And another thing, if (and it's a big if) things had got south with the program, I have no doubt Pete would come here to explain things. He is not one to pull a runner. He certainly has the integrity and is man enough to explain the situation to the membership. This is not a program that will ever just slip quietly into the night. If it ever comes, there will be a proper end; of that I am sure.

I know you all have been waiting patiently for Pete...
But to date I have had no news to give you. I have encroached on the "Pete Family" with an email of which I have received no response. In a time of severe sickness I can respect that the last thing on their mind is Pete's internet business. With Pete being so unwell and in hospital, I see that there is only one thing we can do. Be patient. That's all we can do for now.
I am sure when he is fit and well he will come to the forum and spend quite a while reading this thread. I take my hat off to "The Breakers" that have truly shown their maturity here.
I also do accept the fact that many of you are worried about your money. We all have stakes here, some larger than others, but there are two streams that have bought us all together. 1. A real opportunity in supplementing your income. 2. Finally a man we can trust as an Admin.
Both of those streams have made BreakTheDought a sensational program, and by Pete's admission previously, the best bunch of members that anyone could wish for. In saying that, this program is unique. Our admin is not running anywhere. He is in hospital with a serious conditions. RRV, with complications and a leaking heart valve. Both of which a serious enough in their own right. Pete is where he needs to be, and we will be advised when there is any news we need to know.
What do we do in the meantime? I hear you ask.. be patient, that is all we can do.

I don't know if you have heard of pvbound, he is a member here at MMG and he has his own forum and he runs a program where he trades forex and you get a % each month, now he went off line for around 2 months and we the members only received 1 post from his wife through another source in that time, as usual there were a couple of members jumping up and down with there negative outburst which you come to expect after a while but most members just waited calmly as they knew that acting like a two year old child would not help anyone get there money any quicker!
Guess what, he came back from hospital after having 12 inches of intestine cut out and a double bypass done and just to top it off he is now a diabetic, program is up and running again and the two year old whiners have not been heard from!
My point being sometimes things on the net are true and most of us here went with BTD because of Pete's integrity and i have not changed my view on that, as i have said in a previous post Pete gave me the full names and address of a couple of his relations that live very close to me and i know there phone #'s and i know where they live and i even know people that know them and they have lived in this district for many years and are very well respected. (He gave me these names well before he started BTD as he saw that i was from the Echuca region)
So all i can say is get well Pete and we BREAKERS can't wait to here from you again.........
