@nesk, thanks for your kind inquiry, today my head cold has dried up, but by this afternoon the aches and pains in my joints had got really bad with swelling in my knees. I took myself of to the doctor this afternoon, and he sent me for a blood test, he suspects I may have Ross River Fever, ( a virus which is spread by mosquitoes ) if the test is positive there is very little for it other than rest and analgesics, as the virus needs to run it's course.
By Thursday I should know the result of the test, meanwhile I have a raging headache that seems to defy painkillers, and worst of all no alcohol, so no vitamin B.
Pete
That's no good Pete, i hope it ends up just being a stubborn flu!

Hey Pete,
TAKE GOOD CARE of yourself really, have a very good rest, at least for a month. while having your rest, taking your medicines, and oftentimes go see your doctor for many check ups. I think you better stay at the doctor's clinic or the hospital for your doctor and the nurses to take good care of you all the time, until you're completely cured and fine. -NO KIDDING PETE.
Don't think of your job here or the payouts of the Breakers first for the meantime, at least until MY PAYOUT next month. ( Breakers) hehe.

I've never heard of this virus before, Pete, so looked it up on Google. Vicious, nasty little bug, isn't it. I certainly hope that's not what you've got. Take good care of yourself, eh.

I was called into the Doc's today, given a referral, and tomorrow I leave early for Brisbane to take an appointment on a cancellation.
If you don't here from me between now and tomorrow evening (my time) please don't be concerned about BTD business, my wife has cut short her holiday on the South Australia-Victoria border, and will begin to drive home in the morning, (about 4 days at her pace). There is no bad news, but things are just not right.

I think Ross River Fevers are also caused by anyone (especially with open wounds)walking along any river or floods unknowing there are urines of Mice. (not only by mosquitos) This virus flows along the veins or arteries of any person who are inflicted. I'm sorry if i'm wrong. Like what happened to one of my brother-in-law, was inflicted by this and got sick and hospitalized and........(to be continued), can't tell now. But It will not happen to Pete.
Get well soon Pete. Stay in the hospital until you're cured and very well.

It is currently 10:30 am here in Aussie, so at this time I guess that Pete would be in Brisbane already. Hopefully they will run whatever tests and do whatever they have to do. Lucky break though getting an appointment on a cancellation. The Queensland health system requires plenty of attention.
So chins up guys, lets keep things on even keel here. The only thing we have to worry about is "Whose shout it is!"
Okay, okay... I will go first. But you have to drink my poison, not that healthy stuff that Global drinks... VB (Vitiman B)
Oh I see you hanging around down there Global... this one is for you

Don't give us another thought, Pete. Take care of yourself and we'll be right here when you get back.
@Dorky- I'll take the next, but it may be a bit rough for some: Bottom's up!! (Does that work down under?!?!)
A bit early yet.. it has only just gone 5pm. We don't know when his appointment was either. Plus it is probably a good 1 hours drive. If he comes home tonight, I wouldn't expect to see him here until about 9pm... so that's in another 4 hours.
I am sure when he is able, he will post.

Btw, I made another spend yesterday. And so did my sister ...
Hi members, This going to be short and to the point, as I have, really not too much information.
Yesterday I went to Brisbane, and saw a specialist, I do indeed have Ross River Fever, but with some complications, I gave so much blood yesterday, that I don't think I have much left.
I am waiting for my daughter to drive me to hospital, where they are going to treat me for fluid retention, hence the swelling, and the headaches. While I am there I will have an ultrasound, as I have a heart murmur.
By Tuesday all being well I will be home, and able to manage the virus, I have not been able to take any medication until today, due to the tests, Please just relax until I get back home, Monday evening, this is the first time that I have had a chance to communicate, as I stayed overnight in Brisbane, and only returned at midday.

Hey GP, since you have had several maturities. Do you have to request a withdrawal on the matured date or is it automatic? I had a matured spend on the 26th.
Thanks!

set4life,Pete went to the Specialist on 26th. You normally need to let him know a few days before maturity, how you want to proceed with your investment. He'll come back next Tuesday, feeling a lot better, just wait, in the meantime shoot off an email letting him know what you want done with your investment.

Sorry i was a bit slow seeing your post but it looks like CrazyNo has come to the rescue and answered your questions......
One thing is for sure Pete has never let us down and as soon as he is feeling better everything will be back to normal!

It is automatic to your e-gold/e-bullion account. You'll only need to request if you want to roll over or re-invest your money. But Pete is busy with his medication since the 25th or 26th, I guess it will or might be rolled over if not paid to your egold account.
ooopppsss sorry GP.

I assure you, I have been behaving myself... really
In a few hours maybe after 24 to 48 hours, Pete might be here, very well and kicking already.
Welcome back 'Pete'.
ninong, at time of posting this it is just after 11am Monday, so I really don't expect to see Pete posting until the earliest, tomorrow night...
I noticed that the thread has slipped down to number eight in the list, so I thought I had better do my bit to raise it again. I haven't posted here for a couple of days. To be honest I really feel for Pete and wish him well with getting this Ross River Fever under control.
I admire all the "Breakers" here showing maturity with the situation. Pete is a good man, we need to give him the time he needs without burdening him with our programs needs and wants at this time, to achieve a good recovery with his health.

Boy this time thing has always confused me... half of you are awake when I sleep, having dinner when I am having breakfast, and everything in between.
