Hi guys, I am feeling better today, the whole town is down this bug, I have been shovelling in the calcium ascorbate, and garlic and horseradish capsules.
ETL I have thought of the exchanger thing, however in my country like your's exchanging is heavily licensed and always subject to scrutiny, I would really need to get it right with appropriate licenses, for this reason I always pay out in the same currency that is received into the program by way of spends.

Hi Dorky, I see you're here. I've never been so cold in my life, as this winter. Don't you get a flu injection Pete ? I'm sure it helps.
@CrazyNo.................................I have had a shot, however this bug seems to be a fresh one, I generally find vitamin 'C' in megadoses a big help.
It's freezing here too, the coldest winter I can remember, in all the years I've lived in Queensland.

Can see you again Dorky, I found a lovely little spot in the sun this afternoon to read the Sunday paper - too cold now though. About to look at the footy.

This is one of the better programs on the Internet. Besides, you will not find a better Admin than Pete and great members as well. Just a fun place to be. Join when you can.

You are right there Gary.
Another thing I notice, and it amazes me. The amount of mmg members that drop by and read the thread. Very rarely I come to catch up on this thread that I am here alone.
So to those who read and aren't sure what is going on here, and would like to know more about it, but want independant advice. I urge you to PM some of the posters to find out for yourself. It is the best way to see what is happening. I have been guilty of doing that in other programs. There are no problems here though, never have been. But potential members, I am sure that the other members here won't mind anyone asking any questions.
I can do it, but I am not real good at explaining it. I will see if I can find Global for you. He is a man of the world... and can explain things well.
Dorky Global, where are you.... ?????? I will PM him....
I had the weekend off, it was my wifes B'day and i thought i better do the right thing for a change!
I see another Breaker has answered the screenshot question for us.
Congrats to all that have been paid, i have anther one due this week......

To bad about the not doing the exchanger thing. You would have been a natural. I see that you like natural remedies. You might add echinacea. Its an herb that stimualtes the immune system. It won't work to cure its more of a preventer. Once the infection critter is past your defenses its too late. Lates news on Vit C. and colds. It dosen't work. It wont hurt you but taking mega doses of Vit C does nothing but drain your wallet. You pee the exess out. Originally Linus Pauling (2 time noble prize winner) said Vit C cures colds. No one was willing to argue with a two time nobel prizer. But when he died researches took his notes and tried to repeat his research. They all failed. Looks like he was wrong. But now the Myth is so ingrained that everyone is sure the Vit C works the they assign the normal workings of their own immune system to the miracle cure of VITC. Well like I said it wont hurt you just your wallet. But hey Vit C is cheap too. Good luck to everyone. Ps Before antibiotics echinacea was the no. 1 in the US. Pleanty of good updated studies says it helps too Good luck to all you cold sufferers
But you will still drop by and give us cheek won't you?
@ eager to learn... thanks for your learned imput on the Vitamen C and flu issues. It is great to see that on this thread we have our own Chemist!!
I think for us Aussies getting all these colds and flus is attributed to the extreme weather we are having at the moment. I know that I have been used to only wearing shirt and shorts during winter previously, but this winter it has been cold for weeks. During the middle of the day I am back to shorts but have been wearing a jumper most of the time. I don't know about you other Aussie, I am sure this has been the coldest winter I can remember.

You converted me Global
But can you tell me what a coonara is? Must be something Mexican, as I have never heard of it.
Thanks ETL for the advice on echinacea, it is popular here too.
I tend to agree with Global about his choice of vitamin 'B' at least you keep the fluid level up
This has been a terrible winter indeed Dorky, with a climate like ours,(similar to Hawaii) we are ill prepared for cold winters, in my case I am running the reverse cycle A.C. for heating, but it is not like sitting by a blazing fire.
I feel it's about newsletter time, so expect one soon.

I worked hard to get 3 lots of spends up to $5,000 total and then we had the problem with it being to expensive to out exchange e-gold so i have just kept rolling it over and as soon as Omnipay gets up and running again i will go back to just rolling $5,000 over........

hey drunkers breakers hows going ? Pete feel better?
@nesk, thanks for your kind inquiry, today my head cold has dried up, but by this afternoon the aches and pains in my joints had got really bad with swelling in my knees. I took myself of to the doctor this afternoon, and he sent me for a blood test, he suspects I may have Ross River Fever, ( a virus which is spread by mosquitoes ) if the test is positive there is very little for it other than rest and analgesics, as the virus needs to run it's course.
By Thursday I should know the result of the test, meanwhile I have a raging headache that seems to defy painkillers, and worst of all no alcohol, so no vitamin B.
