QUOTE(Bullskeptic @ Mar 27 2007, 07:20 PM)
<SNIPped by fsloan> But that begs 2 questions: 1) Why make me a "partner" through an MYIP or some investment offer when, again, cheaper credit is available all around? Why offer someone a share of the business when perhaps my capital needs could be met with simple low to high interest loan(s)? An Extremely high yeild loan is basically a share of the business, because let's face it if the business or program fails, your money is gone. Of course if you are raising an astronomical amount of money, like perhaps in the millions, then it may be advantageous to offer more "creative" deals with your lenders/investors. I myself have no experience with needing to raise millions to operate a business, so I have a hard time critiquing the business plan of a company like, for example, Global Online Depository. I simply do not know enough about business to be able to say their plan is brilliant or foolish.
: by fsloan: We are not making anyone a partner, Bullskeptic. We are not offering investments nor are we offering folks a stake or share in the company.
The referenced post talked about the reasoning behind Car Rental Express opting to take this approach. The loan is not a share of the business. We will have to agree to disagree on this point. Can't you tell that I am still tired? My neck hurts as well but I told you I would read your post and address your questions.
2) If these business/ventures are willing to make people partners rather than simple lenders, meaning we share in the full risk of default if the program/business closes - riding the highs with the lows, then the next logical question is how the heck can they afford to pay such high rates? What start-up business/venture is able to offer their investors/lenders 10-50% returns a month even for a few short months unless the money is ponzied? And let's not fool ourself. Even honest admins/owners often end up ponzi'ing the money when they set up their program "loan style." Any capital they have may be sent out to fullfill the monthly payment requirements to the investors. If eventually the cash flow ceases, the payments stop and in fact what they have done, whether they know it or not, has been to pay the old investors from the new. I suppose however that all bonds could be construed in such a way, and it's not really fair to cry "ponzi." If a business goes bankrupt then previous bond interest was paid from the same company "pot" that all bills are paid from and also contained in that cash pot was the new money from new bond holders. I guess any legitament HYIP is a like a company offering unlicensed junk bonds on crack!
: by fsloan: We are not making anyone a partner thus the lenders share no risk. We are definitely not offering anything close to 50% a month. The plans are 14%/mo and 60% every 3 months.
The money is not ponzied. If this was a Ponzi, it would have crashed and burned by now because we do NOT have a large influx of lenders. This is a quiet and small program and we actually like it that way.
No comment re: your "... unlicensed junk bonds on crack." reference. I tried to visualize that but it's simply not working for me. You threw me on that one. <LOL>
<SNIPped by fsloan>
It appears that you are addressing MANY programs in your post. I can't speak for any other program except for CELLCFund as I am not privy to whatever it is that they are doing behind closed doors. So, I have to admit that this was rather hard reading. I missed the point of the post. I am not going to simply attribute it to my state of exhaustion and low motivation right now. But my head hurts, Bullskeptic. <LOL.

Faith,
Not sure if you remember me, we met while participants of Primus Finance, a promising venture that turned scam late last year.
I was impressed with your conduct back then and am glad to see your apparent good fortune in finding and being an integral part of an apparent solid venture like this. I've been checking up on this thread from time to time and and have not been disappointed in my expectations of your conduct.
I've been nursing my wounds from the massive blow to my portfolio I took at the end of last year and I'm finally ready to enter here with a small spend. I gather from reading recent posts that the minimum is still $50 and that you now accept CEP Trust. If so please send me further details.
Thanks, Goldwarrior

Of course I remember you. Primus Finance was admin'd by that 'Richard' guy. Late last year wreaked a bit of havoc on me and everybody else. It was scam city galore around the holidays and AFTER the holidays too.
But this year, there are some good games out there. Lighthalven (by lemon and said) is a good game and cloverhyip is a game which just started an hour or so ago by the ceoinvestment guy. And of course the CEP Company has been true to form for a relatively long time and they state that their programs are NOT games. I'll give them that benefit of the doubt right now. In any case -- very profitable.
Notice how I mention other programs in the CELLCFund thread. I wonder if the MMG mods will reprimand me for that. <LOL> I believe that there are enough programs out there and competition tends to make for angry folks.
CELLCFund is quite different of course as it is not a game. I am sending you a PM right now.
2007 WILL be better than and 2006. My battle wounds have long since healed and I am thousands in profit while playing out there in t hat jungle. <LOL>
p.s. i am not endorsing any of the above-mentioned games. I just play them at my own risk. But CELLCFund is the secure loan program of which I have 100% confidence in and of course endorses 100%.

Alright made my first spend thru CEP Trust, ID# 1274413. Hopefully first of many and many more payouts to come!
Yea things have finally seemed to stabilize for a bit, unfortunately not before I lost thousands. Now I'm working with only tens and occasionally hundreds in my HYIP portfolio but slowly and surely I'm building it back up. I just got involved with CEP a little over a month ago and looking to be well in profit by this time next month. I haven't heard of the other but I'm sticking more with the long term more-likely-to-be-real deals as I'm looking to create a relatively stable cashflow.

Hey Paolo,
I just did the same thing today. Make the money order to:
Also, on the money order(s), Make sure to put down which plan you want your loan in (Plan A, Plan B) and your e-mail address. If you're planning to put in both plans, you must have a money order for each plan. Then after that, post in here that you made a deposit so that Faith will know to look out for it. Remember, the minimum is $50 and in increments of $10 ($50, $60, $100 $150, etc...) Good Luck to you.

Hello all. I had food poisoing and ended up with a swollen face with welts over it etc. Not sure from what but the doctor suspect that it was partially due to the sulfites in red wine.
Stayed at a friend's this weekend to be cared for. Manley called me and was rather concerned since I was very much out of contact with everyone. And of course, my mother was concerned.
Feeling better now.
Have to update the database with deposits/withdrawals later this weekend so bear with me.
All new deposits will be verified and confirmed by this evening EST.

I had the pleasure of taking with Faith on the phone and she answered all my questions. Very informative and knowledgeable but where she got my respect was in another site we were in and all she was doing was asking questions and she was made out to look like a troll. Regardless, she handled it without getting angry or any name calling. That's true professionalism in my book. Definitely some one I want to be a part of in my journey towards "Financial Freedom"
