Just to clear up my confusion, I would appreciate any help:
Just say I have $100 in my EG account and gold is 600$/ounce
Now.. just say price of gold goes up to 650$/ounce, would my balance go up, or down?
Thanks in advance for help..

Yes it does, sometimes the best investment you can have is an e-gold account.

I seen an $8000 rise when gold went up $140 an oz at one time. Needless to say I cashed it all out

I wouldn't say that 630 to 600 is just a few dollars. E.g 9.000 USD. I have lost 600 dollars on 30 points difference
Gold is currently sold in the market in a very stable price. That why until now, i still believe that e-gold is the best payment processed offer in this world as it dont charge any cost to transfer from a user to a user
e-gold trading is insanely profitable.. people who do it earn up to like 20% daily on average..
