all of the North York based debit cards are kaput from tomorrow at 2pm. They are all scrambling for new providers.

You mean you haven't heard. This affects like 90+ debit card brands.

It's a big deal.
[3:28:21 PM] Megaplex says: I hear that Hatfield is working on several card projects right now and will be providing a solution to shortly. However it could be a few weeks until the industry regains its footing as NYCCU/CardOne was a big provider.

[3:40:17 PM] megaplex says: Bunch of info on the talkgold forums. Usually under gcard or bluebanking cards (also NYCCU cards) if you go to their respective sites they should have the notice up. Hatfield is informing its clients tomorrow as they want to present the solution with the notice to provide as much continuity as possible.

The problem is, all debit card systems issued by North York Community Credit Union are being shut down as I type this. This pretty much affects all Debit cards since almost all I have seen have the North York Community Credit Union logo on them. We will have to wait for an alternative I'm afraid.

anyone knows why this all happened ? I think Gcard has found alternative as they said is email that they will be replacing our current card with the new one in End of Jan or Begining of Feb. but they said "replace" I am sure we wont have to pay for that.
