Good luck trying to find these scammers. And even if you do, what do you say? You got scammed by putting money into an illegal(in most countries) ponzi scam? Do you really want to spend more money pursuing the case? Who will end up with all the money anyway? Look at 12DP and EMO for example. The only ones rolling in cash are the lawyers and receivers. The rest of us wait for nothing.

I am sure none of you can tell whether a site is scam before you putting in money Wrong, we can (I can) tell whether a site is a scam or not and we do stay away from the scam. And most of us have learn it the hard way like you. Stop putting your money in these HYIPs; look around you and do some reading. Have you tried other type of programs? Do you visit other threads/forums beside the HYIP and Autosurf forums? You cannot keep doing the same things over and over and expect different result and this is the definition on Insanity! Again, do some reading, this forum is a gold mine for people wishing to make money online.
Lol, I very interested about this when i got my first deposit was scammed by HYIP Admin, but afetr i read and read, I Think You can't make legal action against scammer because i think on every HYIP there is some point on Term Of Service/Rules that say:
"MEMBER EXPRESSLY AGREES THAT USE OF THE SERVICE IS AT MEMBER'S SOLE RISK" <- quoted from Fxearners.net, you can read other TOS on other site i believe all site have that word or similar word And usually when you want to register, you've agreed the Rules, So Admin is not wrong i think And remember, no HYIP use real address / real personal information (maybe there is some but i think it's only very very little that use real address / personal information) So... ONLY INVEST WHAT YOU AFFORD TO LOSE And Only Invest on a Good Site, not on The Site Running by People who call themselve Honest Admin And Threat HYIP as Gambling, sometimes you will win, sometimes you will lose QUOTE(megaplex @ Jan 4 2007, 04:25 AM) ![]() that was funny! thx mega QUOTE(kenang82 @ Jan 4 2007, 05:48 AM) If there is really no way to catch those scammers, why all of us still investing? Alot of people have resorted to that, including alot of reputable mmg members, since it's so easy to sucker the majority of investors these days. Many others like me, are bound by this dang conscience of ours, and a strong belief in god or karma.
Personally I would have liked to the games thing, reworked a little to stop big dollar HAR, sadly I think it got old before it's time, and I am not sure that there can be any going back.
But you are right, run right with perhaps a 10% fee to admin, it could have gone places. Pete QUOTE(megaplex @ Jan 4 2007, 02:25 PM) ![]() That is funny.. And it's has it's truth Scamers can be stopped, but it needs really a lot of action to achieve something. Often it's much simplier to just go away then to try to find a scammer. Everybody who invests understand the risk and take it.
In a few, select cases, mainly when the admins were US residents, and the programs have grown too much to remain unnoticed by the authorities, legal action has been taken, but, in the vast majority of cases, people just accept their loss and move on.
All in all, HYIPs and the word "legal" just don't go hand in hand, F1RM
The plain simple fact of the matter is that when you sign up for one of these things, it is a gamble. For that matter, any kind of investment is a gamble.
The terms that are written for these sites, and the way that they are run, cannot be refuted. Basically, you put your money in, and hope for the best. There is no real way to identify a scam. I do have some telltale indicators that I use, but other than that, it is very hard to see them. There are other ways of making money online other than surfs and HYIP's. So if your not making it with these, try something else out. I was never been hacked because I am also PC security expert but when I offer e-gold an inexpensive way to stop hackers they did not buy it. e-gold tells you: There are Trojans keyloggers that monitors Internet Explorer windows until a user visits the e-gold login page: e-gold.com/acct/login.html. Once the user is logged in, the Trojan opens a hidden Internet Explorer window in which it accesses the user's account balance: e-gold.com/acct/balance.asp . After ascertaining the value of the user's account it attempts to transfer their funds to another account using the hidden window. Most viruses are conveyed by spammed e-mail in the form of HTML messages. The scripts run on viewing, no clicking on attachments is necessary. They may also arrive as image attachments. Once the image is viewed, the program is executed. Either way, the system is now infected and is just waiting for you to check your e-gold account balance. e-gold doesn't tell you how it will never be possible for the hacker to know your passphrase of password. why? ask e-gold. beside you should download a KeyScrambler Personal - the plugin that protects all your logins, absolutely free!

Or we must hire a lawyer for thousands and wait nothing ? From my point of view, HYIP is already illegal way to make profit so it cannot be complain whatsoever. Just consider this as gambling and never put all your money into any particular HYIP and always remember you will lose it and dont give too much hope on getting a fully 100% profit. And... before complaining, always remember they never force you to join that HYIP you join so dont blame scammer on your own greed. And... even if you do complain to FBI, Police, ICC, lawyer, etc... your case will eventually goes to the bottom of the sea. Why? It's because the small amount of $ authority people dont really care much about it so if you really lose money in HYIP you're on your own pal. I think you must look for a lawyer in your country and ask him about the internet laws so you can be sure if your country is internet scam free or there is authority (or just call the police).
