I cycled out of the $1 line - thanks to Sofisa. I then went into the $2 line and knocked Metelis off.

In an effort to re-vitalize TheDoubleDragon:

DD Spot(s) are being created and will be used to push the lines. When a DD Spot cycles it will re-spend in the same line and push(with the profit) where it will do the most good but primarily in the $1 line. DD Spots used to push the $1 line will be made using DD Push and then will be deleted prior to cycling to shorten the line.

NEW: When you cycle from the $1 line, move up to $2 line, when you cycle from $2 line, move up to $3.50, when you cycle from 3.50 move up to $5.

DO NOT make any further spends in the $1 line until I notify that it is ok to do so. Any further spends in the $1 line will be changed to DD Spot.

Always move up into the bigger lines when you cycle and push the smaller lines when you can. If we do not get the bigger lines moving this game will be over soon.

I will be creating a new $35 line to assist in moving into the top line of $45. You must cycle from the $27 line in order to spend in this new line. Anyone spending in this new line without cycling from the $27 line will have the spot changed to DD Spot, no refund.

We will start with these changes and see how it goes. Further changes may be necessary.

It has been quite annoying, watching members cycling from the $1.00, just going back into that same line.
What can you do with a profit less than 90 cents.

It's a starting point. At least we can give it a shot and see what happens. Seems to be working for Raz at Friends...

I think it's a great idea Hoping by doing this and adding that $35 line - things will start moving again. Long live Double Dragon.

And the best part I like is that when the $35 line is opened up the only way to buy in there is cycling from the $27. To me it has not been fair before in other doublers where big lines opened up and people jump straight in. This way is heaps more fair for sure.

Under NEW RULES:

Started putting my numbers in to help me keep track of where I am, as my spots cycle and ofcourse when I buy new spots {in 2.00 line until $1 opens up again}...

Glad to see this change, will definately help get our cycler moving...

Well, Mel tumbled out of the $7 line and I'm on top!! Anxious to get these bigger lines going. Has anyone heard from Melanie? She was very active in several doublers here - hope she's okay.

Great input deb. We can and will recover this. I realize that BDD had an impact but that does not mean I have let this fall by the wayside. Onward and upward. We have a lot of strong players here and it would be a shame to let all our hard work go for not. I am doing everything I can but the ultimate end is in the members hands, I can only do so much....

All members - I am developing an idea for a total overhaul of the DoubleDragon. I will not give out any details until the right moment, we must first recover from the slowness.

I think you will like it but as I said, no details until the time is right as someone else would probably steal the idea.

It will be something different, just as BigDam is and should pick things up quite a bit...

The next steps for the DoubleDragon. This went out as an all members email this morning so there should be no one saying "I didn't know" unless they used an invalid email in which case they have violated the rules anyway.

Next steps:

The first step is to do come cleanup.

Members who have cycled and have not re-spent for 2 weeks will be removed from the board. This step in the cleanup will start today.

Members who do not respond to this email within the next 7 days and state their intent to continue in the Double Dragon will be removed from the board.

Members who are in profit and have done nothing to help the team will be removed from the board. IE: Never push to help the team. If you think you fall into this catagory and intend to continue, please make some "good faith" pushes in the next 24 hours. After that the spots will be removed from the board.

If you intend to continue and want to help re-vitalize this doubler maybe you could make a push or two to show your intent. Do not spend in the $1 line.

We will start with these changes and see where it leads us.

I did not include "No refunds" in the email as it is clearly stated on the site.

I'm near Broken Hill in NSW. 2 hours from decent sized town.

I've been to Broken Hill_ I imagined you to be further outback than that.

That is far enough out back at the moment. We have just moved from Tamworth to Wilcannia in February and my 2 teenage boys think it is the end of the earth. They are used to more people around them.

Good old Tamworth - home of the Country Music Festival, which I've been to twice. Nice town.

Well Ballarat is a nice, small city but my girls thought it was deadsville when they were growing up here. 2 of them now live in Melbourne.

Sofisa, well done on your doubling from the $9 line

Skylady - because this is a normal "doubler" anyone who joins now as a new member can actually join in any line (except the new $35 line). They don't have to start in the $2 line. And the strategy is to always move up to the next line, and push the smaller lines when possible.

i made a push in the 9$ line

im interested in this program too, is the admin same guy from bigdamdoubler? do I have to start from $1 spot too in this program ? anyone care to explain ? thanks a lot for the help ?
