Just waiting on an ACH transfer from my bank account to hit CEP Trust and I will be putting more in. My ACH request was done on Thursday last week and the funds are still showing in my bank account. Hopefully it will be complete soon. By the way, anyone know if CEP Trust is still charging a fee to fund from e-gold. I saw a while back that the fee was being temporarily waived. Just wondering if that is still the case.

Mike, I don't understand why the money would still be sitting in your bank account. Does the receiving bank have to acknowledge something to the sending bank before the actual transfer of funds takes place?

ahh...finally able to get paid and buy new upgrade daily with it...love it...now I have to figure out a strategy...ahhh...nahh ...I'll just keep doing this for a long time......until I can earn some REAL money!!

I am not exactly sure how it works. Perhaps once I put in the request for the ACH transfer through CEP Trust, someone within CEPtrust then has to initiate it on their end to start the process. I know once the funds leave my bank account it takes about 48 hours to show up in the CEPTrust account. However, I am still waiting for it to even leave my bank account. I received an email letting me know the request to do the transfer was received. I read in the CEPTrust forum that funding CEPTrust via ach transfer has been taking around 5 to 6 business days, which was a bit slower than normal becauase things were a little behind due to the transition to Chase and things still being set up.

Which brings up another question. If my account is with Chase and I am doing an ACH to another account within Chase I wonder if it is any quicker. Seems easier for me to just go to the teller in the bank and do a withdraw from my account and a deposit into CEP Trust account and it would be done immediately. But then I guess they can't track where the money came from if I just did a cash deposit. Although when I fund my egold account using the bullion exchange they just have me do a cash deposit in their bank account after I fill out a deposit form online and they track the deposit by the date/place it was done and the last 2 digits of the deposit amount which is always 54 cents which represents the last 2 digits of my egold account #.

How are you getting on? I'm glad you survived the atrocious weather the other day. I watched the Superbowl on TV last night and Florida still looked very wet.

I finished my first cycle here today and have compounded again - I am just loving this program.

I also spent a lot of time yesterday trying to figure out a strategy or several strategies - I think what I ended up with was :

1) not to be tempted to try even a test spend in anything new that comes along, particularly when it's all hyped up

2) stay at roughly the same level with all the other nice paying programs I'm already in

3) put all my spare kebab money into this one. If there is anything better than this out there or with a better aura about it, I'm sure we would have heard about it by now.

Yep, Florida is wet, tornado damage is slowly getting cleaned up..very slowly...it's amazing how long administrative issues can slow things down...who is responsible for picking up the debris? Let's see... garbage, the city....trees, well..the city if it is cut into small enough pieces....building debris, only a licensed contractor. I'm soo very thankful that it didn't get us personally, but I hear more horror stories daily. Thanks for asking.

Your top 3 rules of thumb sound about like what I'm feeling and how I'm handling it now. Defiantely decided that surfing isn't going to pay my bills..not for a long time anyway as I keep upgrading with my earnings here.

Lenny, I wrote about this earlier while I was awaiting my CEPTrust funds. Last Wednesday, the funds were finally put in hold status in my bank account. So I expected my funds today. But lo and behold, my CEPTrust funds were available Friday. I took a few hundred and paid 6% for rush 2-day e-gold transfer and lo and behold it was done by the next day!

So all in all, even with the delays posed by a change in banks, CEPTrust came through like a charm.

Mike was going the other way. Doing an ACH transfer to Ceptrust. The monies were still sitting in his bank account over 48 hours after he made the transfer request. I fully understand the delays on transfers from Ceptrust to Members bank accounts.
