Looking Forward - A New Venture by Charis on jue 06 abr 2006 18:10 EDT | Permanent Link Throughout the events of the past few months I have found myself contemplating my future and what path my life might take from here forward.
I had a choice. I could spend my days lamenting about what had happened. I could stew in frustration over the legal boundaries that I have been put under which have rendered me powerless to help resolve this difficult situation…OR…I could take action and do something that could help me heal from the experience and help others move forward toward greater things in their lives.
I chose the latter. Yes, I made mistakes. Yes, I made some poor judgments. But I now choose to focus on what I CAN do rather than what I am unable to do. When I asked myself what it was I could do and should do, the answer was that I need to focus my life on helping others.
I realize that many people were involved with my former company out of what they felt was a need. I’m not speaking here about those that saw our program as a means to get-rich-quick. I am speaking of the people that I always wanted to help. Some were attempting to get out of debt. Others were attempting to save for retirement. Others were disabled and had no other means of supporting themselves. Some were students trying to pay for tuition. These were people that had a real need. The fact that my former company does not exist anymore does not erase this need. They are now seeking ways to meet that need. They have a choice as well. They can continue down a potentially dangerous road where they have to pay someone in order to earn or they can find a legitimate alternative.
I feel that I have a responsibility to help these people do the latter. It is with these things in mind that I have spent the past weeks developing and creating a new venture that I hope will make great strides toward re-educating these people and others about internet income opportunities, e-commerce and web entrepreneurship. I want to help you understand that you don’t have to put your financial future in the hands of someone else. I want to help you discover that with a little bit of ingenuity, knowledge, and creativity, you can turn your own ideas, skills, and talents into a lucrative means of earning your own living online… putting you in charge of your own destiny.
There are many people out there seeking solid, reputable, and legal ways to earn income online. There are some people that have an existing business they own or promote and want to find powerful ways to increase traffic or revenue. There are some others that have always had that idea the back of their heads for a web business but never had the knowledge, resources or motivation to make it a reality. Some people are merely looking for a way to make side income; others are seeking a career. My new venture meets all of these needs.
The new venture is built on the belief that achieving success in life and in business goes far beyond the acquisition of wealth. We pride ourselves on being the antithesis of the get-rich-quick programs that are destroying the internet community. Being a success in life and in business requires that you use your intelligence, resourcefulness, creativity, common sense, determination and humanity among with many other things. This new program does not exist to help its clients achieve wealth, but instead is focused on equipping them with the tools that will help them achieve success on their own terms.
I have also been compelled during the building of this program to do step out even further in my commitment to the people involved with my former company. I will personally contribute ALL advertising dollars earned from this blog, CharisJohnson.com as well as a minimum of 10% of the monthly profits earned from my new venture to whatever funds are set aside by the receiver for refunds.

Actually I'm pretty interested in this new site.... I started of on the online money making world being an internet marketer selling e-books, promoting affiliate programs and stuff. Didnt make much money though..... Definitely not as much as I made with autosurfs! LOL!

Only wish I had used a CC... I lost a total in SP scam of over 8k of my own money, no rollovers or anything. I had just gotten into it and was awaiting payouts from different sites when this all went down.. My bank could not do a charge back because I was honest and told that I did initiate the ach. They said if I didn't initiate it, then they could do it. I couldn't lie about it.. so I lost it. I believe that Charis did all she could do. I am excited about the new site also. I have products and opportunities that I have been promoting on the web for almost 2 years, so I have a legitimate business to advertise and I would love to find some quality advertising where I can find people who are truly interested in what I have to offer them if it will help them. I miss 12p and I still have to come on here and read the threads. I doubt I will ever make back my loss, but I am coming close with stormy surf shares. She also seems really honest, like Charis. I wonder how in the world she could have sustained a program for that long if it was indeed ponzi... Have you ever thought, all business is in some ways ponzi.. If a business had no incoming money, they couldn't pay the employees or anything. The Social Security is a prime example. I trust Charis and I will be one of the first to hop on the boat of her new enterprise and I know it will be successful because she knows what she is doing.. esp now. I only wish I could afford to sue Storm Pay for all the money they stole. I can't figure out how they are getting off free.. It doesn't make sense at all. Anyways, whether you all like Charis or not, a lot of people made some good money off the site and it helped a lot of people. just received a letter in the mail today from my cc company. looks like scampay responded to my cc chargeback from 26 Feb. they included a letter that claims I signed up for a get rich sceme called 12dp and authorized scampay to debit my account for $$$ xxx. now i have to respond to the letter by 4/14 with evidence if i still want to dispute the charge. i also successfully got back my $$$ via ACH reversal on 14 Feb. All I can say is I'm closing my checking account and reopening another in light of this madness. if they want the money the stole from me they are gonna have to sue me. now i gotta waste time finding evidence to dispute this crap. damn u scampay.
but doesnt that SEC investigator guy promised a new info about this case soon? i remember that somenone got email about that.

I must admit I thought once you had disgraced yourself and were in the hands of the receiver, who was paying you $5,000 per month for essential living expenses, you weren't allowed by law to set up another enterprise. Looks like the law is different in the USA or is she hoping she won't get caught again

5K per month for Charis and 10K for her lawyers per the consent order. Now, does anyone not understand why Charis would NOT sign that? Obviously, her lawyers are going to say PRESS HARD YOU'RE MAKING 3 COPIES when they see guaranteed money and 5K/month for Charis beats the hell out of 0K/month.
What you have here is a classic case of carrot-and-stick and "it pays to cooperate." If you don't, you become like EMO where they got nothing at all, all their bank accts and possessions have been confiscated and the owners face a trial date in September where they are going to get it shoved way up in there on probably multiple charges including criminal. Which would YOU prefer?
As I have said since the beginning, the frozen funds and all the rest of the BLAH is the members' money, not Charis'. She has to look out for herself, not you. Her attorneys didn't give her bad advice at all....they gave her the no-brainer common-sense advice to SIGN NOW before the SEC changes their minds. If the they had told the SEC to get bent and go back to court, the SEC was definitely going to and this time would have dotted the i's and crossed the t's. Then after the judge gave them the restraining order and all, they would have brought the Hammer(with apologies to Radmax here) down hard. 5K a month or a world of ? Hmmm...tough choice, NOT.

I think you have nothing to lose and everything to gain! You CC company will ask if you have made a request for refund and the result of that, but if you can't reach them because their site is down, then that is what you say.

You paid money through them for them to pay other parties, and for the other parties to pay you through them. They are now under receivership and therefore cannot fulfill their services that you entrusted them with. Therefore you want a refund as a result of their failure to perform their service.
