Some information I received from my bank when filing my chargeback:
One slightly disturbing thing I found out is that StormPay has 45 days (at least through my bank) to dispute any chargeback.
I am also being mailed by snailmail, an affidavit to sign and fill out and mail back. I can either fax it or mail it. I can also include any documentation which would help them decide on the case what to do. I have a list of different things that will help my case.
In regards to chargebacks, if you paid for your upgrades in any autosurf with your SP balance you can kill that money goodbye for now and hope that StormPay decides to refund the money. As I said in a previous post you have a 50/50 chance of getting a refund. If you paid money into 12DP in the last 15 days or so I would say you are on the wrong side of that 50/50 chance.
Also something to note that I think is important that most people probably are not aware of is that if you DO file a chargeback with your credit card company or your bank your StormPay account WILL BE TERMINATED for breach of their terms and conditions. So if you have decided to chargeback, please make sure you are ok with separting with your StormPay account and empty it out as much as you can.
If any of you are sick of trolling through these posts and want updates on 12DP, Autosurfs and StormPay join my newsletter and I'll keep you posted on all the important stuff without the fluff. I also have pictures of the StormPay building, construction site and all that gruesome stuff. wink.gif Just click the link in my signature and wallah.

I tried logging into my StormPay account today and this is what I get:
The IP address you are connecting from is banned from accessing StormPay.com. If you are using a Proxy IP address, please connect to StormPay.com through your normal Internet Provider.
Is anyone else getting this? Why is it doing this? I can't send a ticket in because I can not login. I am not using a Proxy. I am glad my last bank transfer made it to my bank account today.
Yep, many of us seem to be getting that message. It's a creative message, better than saying outloud "your account has been frozen for no good reason for now, or may be for permanently. Don't bug down our web server while we are busy collecting members' funds."!!!......

StormPay isin't letting Charis know about it, according to Charis' news update, thus creating confusion to 12DP/Charis. StormPay is deliberately messing things up using 12DP's funds. Charis would have no idea which member has already been paid and which has not, worse yet which has been paid twice...
I fully understand that, which is why I said I hoped the members would be honest and notify said admin(s). It's not only 12 DP, but many other autosurfs, and all in the same position with these random refunds.

look what scampay posted in their website:
Rumors Put to Rest. 05-Feb-2006 08:38 Recently StormPay.com closed the accounts of what appear to be some major ponzi schemes. These account closures came as the early results of investigations into those businesses by outside investigational organizations as well as our own internal investigations.
As a result, possible victims of these businesses are attempting to retaliate against StormPay.com by spreading false rumors and performing DDOS attacks against StormPay's servers. The rumors include such things as "StormPay.com has gone out of business", "Their building has been burned down", and other falsehoods. The DDOS attacks are "Denial of Service" attacks where massive amounts of traffic is sent to the website whereby disallowing legitimate web traffic to reach the website. These attacks only prevent legitimate traffic from reaching the website and pose absolutely no threat to the security of your StormPay account.
StormPay will CONTINUE to cooperate with authoritative investigations into these businesses which very heavily appear to be nothing more than illegal ponzi or pyramid schemes. Our hopes are to get these investigations completed as early as possible so that victims can quickly be refunded monies that have been captured in those account closures. However, we must warn that those who are impeding the investigation are only slowing the process for everyone involved.
StormPay Inc.

How is it that a payment processor can suspend all these sites and freeze accounts. If Stormpay were really concerned about ponzis and pyramid sites then they would not accept the sites in the first place and members would have to use an alternate processor to invest in these autosurfs. Stormpay accepts all the advertising dollars from members paying to advertise all these same sites that they are now calling ponzis. And that makes sense??

Did you read the article below? Its a bit lengthy but very interesting. I start to wonder if Charis is not in trouble now:
--------------- ---- [b]Student Funds Tied Up in Controversial Company By Julie Espinosa - 6 Feb 2006
The financial accounts of controversial autosurf company 12daily Pro - which promises a 44 percent return on money at the end of 12 days - were frozen Wednesday evening, Feb. 1, 2006, spawning rumors of a federal investigation and the inability of an affiliate company to repay funds.
..................
Again some controversies and conspiracies. I try to figure out how this saga will ending.
And no update from Charis so far (here in my location it is 23:17 GMT). A bit worry!!!!
Isn't this what Charis was talking about in the news update? Charis believes that StormPay has fabricated and is circulating this article and Charis claims that neither StormPay nor any independent organization is conducting investigation. 12DP really isn't the one holding the members funds, or is it like implying in the article, but StormPay is.

Now that I think about it, SP is responsible for my investments in all these ponzis. I signed up so i could get paid to click on ads, ads were all hyips and autosurfs and of course they were sanctioned by sp because they had to approve the ads and all of them were NetIba certified, how could a dumb blonde like me know any better

I was navigating their BYU NewsNET and this page seems to be the most productive, http://newsnet.byu.edu/textonly/. There have actually been many articles since the beggining of this, the same as on ABC4 News. Both seem to be good resources, every once in a while they throw in some good facts that were unknown to me along with their crap. Their main message to everyone is just to stay away.

StormPay maybe was in on the HYIP scheme, like P4IT. You know P4IT, had bee the largest HYIP ever, is gone almost the same time StormPay started freezing funds. It may have been that one action, P4IT's disappearance, caused the other. In any case, StormPay just lost big money maker, P4IT, and wasn't about to loose another, 12DP.
