so is stormpay not only closing accounts of sites with more then one processor, we are a brand new autosurf site, that is sp only and our account has been closed. anyone know if it happening to all autosurf sites and hyips? no we were not informed either. Just closed account it says. Ok so if this is just about one processor, then we did not break there rules.
seem to be rejecting clix ads for sites as well......plus there discussion board keeps going down so no information there either.............

Speaking of Talkgold and Ponzi Nemesis -- I found on the 12dp forum the link of the blog that Charis made in response to the latest fiasco that TG and TG admin Brian did regarding Charis and her account on TG.
www.talkgoldnemesis.com
Its confirmed that Charis owns that blog.
What exactly did I do to Charis? Not remove the 1200 posts she begged me to which were people's opinions that her program was a ponzi? I can't just go around deleting any posts in which the admins of the programs don't like. That would ruin the entire purpose of talkgold.com which is to allow members to discuss the positives and negatives about programs and come to their own conclusion if its a rational investing decision or not.

Stormpay is not doing this. No company would do it, cause it would just be stupid. Whats probably happening is the FBI, or IRS or whatever is investigating this business. Probably thanks to all the HYIP scams thats been taking place. If so they will notice 12dp and other autosurfs are clean and things will eventually get back to normal. Thats my guess.

A crisis between SP & 12DP: An Analysis
I am providing you with this analysis of the current 12dp - SP crisis and would like to know your opinion.
This is pure speculation and may be wrong, just an attempt to bring something to you all.
I think I understand the problem. Here's the 123 that I think is going on. Please correct me if I am wrong:
1- 12dp admin did not expect that such a large number of memebrs would prefer EMO as their payment processor rather than SP (probably because of lower fees).
2- Because 12dp put similar amounts of money into both SP and EMO, a lot of loyal E-gold people decided to use EMO and not SP, so they 12dp needed to transfer a huge amount from their SP account to EMO
3- SP turned unhappy by this development and demanded that SP be the sole processor to continue working with 12dp.
4- 12dp could not withdraw amounts from its SP account due to one of two reasons (SP doesn't want EMO to get the funds or SP isn't able to give that much money in one shot)
5- 12dp filed complaints and is considering legal action against SP, which could potentially result in fear among SP users. But 12dp still doesn't want this to happen because this would scare the hell out of SP users who may want to file a chargeback, putting 12dp into possible danger.
6- 12dp is working very hard to get another site running using EMO (possibly exclusvely) and will be promoting this site from now on and use the convention in late Feb for this reason.
7- SP is realizing that this could damage its largest ever customer (12dp) and could lead to gradual disconnection of 12dp so it would pressurize 12dp to stay by withholding funds and requesting to stay the only payment processor.
The truth is that 12dp has become larger than SP and any potential conflict between the two could damage the reputation of SP, and may indeed bring some spotlight to EMO.
I believe this is more of payment processor struggle betweem SP and EMO rather than between 12dp & SP.
In fact the upcoming move of 12dp in launching a new website with EMO as its processor, will be a great boost to EMO over SP because 12dp is by far -without doubt- the most popular autosurf/hyip program in the web, and having a sole processor will bring this processor a great advantage.
That's my opinion, I do have pending payments like many of you guys and I hope this would result in a peaceful end securing the funds/and earnings of all of us...

from talkgold thread:
QUOTE
I'm usually one of the few people stuck in the middle between PN and the booleaders and the go-go-12dp cheerleaders here, but I did find out something interesting yesterday which I thought you all should know.
One of my good friends here in Connecticut runs a fairly large hosting company. He knows that I play with the autosurfs and HYIPs a bit, and he provides hosting for several autosurfing companies... he doesn't exactly approve of me putting money in them, but that's another matter.
He mentioned the other day that he recently got a cease-and-desist letter from the FBI demanding that he cancel the hosting agreement for one of his clients, LifeClicks LLC. Evidently, they had been using his company to send out millions of spam emails in violation of the federal CAN-SPAM act. My friend complied, deleting LifeClicks' account. This is the first time he's had any complaints (legal or otherwise) about providing hosting to autosurfs, so he figured he'd tell me about it.
That's all I know. Make what you will out of it.

Hey perhaps, Stormpay was having to prepare for some sort of audit from the big boys and had to look clean...didn't want all those transactions to have to explain. Perhaps the CEO of e-gold wanted to share the wealth and suggested that the feds check Stormpay out so they could become the leaders in the AS/HYIP industry. Maybe Stormpay is currently being robbed and we just don't know it! Maybe it isn't Stormpay at all..."think outside the box" Just kidding...wanted to try and lighten the mood. 2. In the news they (SP) had admitted the thing about multiple processors... a couple of hours ago it has been removed;
3. Stormclix was in maintenance mode few hours ago, it turned back on a couple of mins ago.. Now it's back in maintenance mode.
However, at the end of the day we're just speculating. I'm as angry as you are guys as i had a good portion of my saved money in it and 12dp. We can just trust in Charis negotiating and informing us with every update.

28. Commission Based Business Model Policy. Due to high volumes of fraudulent transactions made to merchants with commission based business models, StormPay can no longer process payments for those type of merchants who choose to accept more than one payment processing solution.
Using more than one payment processor is exactly the situation that “fraud” seeks out. This enables the fraudulent user to set up a fake profile with either of the processors, make a purchase or join the program, and then withdraw their earnings to the other processor where the real identity is used. This sort of activity makes it nearly impossible for either processor, or law enforcement to properly handle the fraud because the “trail” comes to an end. This is the cause for a great many chargebacks to those merchants which can be avoided.
As of 1/30/2006 StormPay must require Merchants with a commissioned based business model who choose to accept StormPay, to only accept StormPay. StormPay certainly does not wish to dictate how our merchants run their business, all merchants are free to choose any processing solution that best suits their needs. We understand you have choices and certainly hope that choice is the online leader – StormPay. However, if another payment solution is used, please immediately remove StormPay from the associated website as a funding option and continue to use the StormPay account funds to finish payments to those members who paid using their StormPay account.
At StormPay we truly care about our merchants’ and the overall success of their business and sales and for that reason we have implemented these very necessary changes.
cheers

"Unfortunately, we are unable to process any further transactions on behalf of the merchant. StormPay Inc. certainly understands your concerns regarding this situation. However, the funds of this merchant were frozen by an outside organization pending further investigation. To protect the integrity of the investigation we are unable to release any details at this time. Once the funds are released, StormPay will release the funds to claimant(s) for disbursement"
