Stormpay Manipulations - by Charis - 12DP Admin at 2006-02-02 13:22:46 From what we can tell, it seems that StormPay may not in their bank account enough funds to cover the withdrawal we requested and thus could possible be using the account suspension as a smoke screen for their inability to pay us our requested funds.
It seems they may have fabricating the existance of some kind of investigation and suggesting that our account has been 'frozen' in an effort to deflect attention from their ability to pay us. We have verified that none of our other payment processing accounts, nor our bank accounts has been frozen. Those accounts are perfectly fine. We find it very curious that the only financial account we have open that is currently frozen is with a company that has found one excuse after another to pay us a large deposit we requested weeks ago.
We assume their tactic is to breed fear among members in an attempt to get them to place chargebacks so they only have to pay out to individual members in small amounts at a time and thus NOT have to pay us the large lump sum that we requested beacause they mau not have the funds in place to cover such a large withdrawal.
We are still researching and gathering information and will provide more as we have it.

Think about it...How coincidental is it that All of a sudden "outside" sources miraculously appears within days of stormthug's policy change. You guys were warned the moment this crap happened that stormthug was crooked and facts were presented to you. Some chose to listen but it seems like a good amount in this thread was sticking to the mighty god stormthug. Warnings were given even before they pulled this stunt and signs were there. I hope the smart ones here don't have money laying around in that trap and are or have already made plans to get another proccessor.
Watch your back stormthug is desperate and feigning for cash. What next? continuing random freezing of individual accounts They're on a rampage and are willing to do anything at any given time

I don't understand something. We put money into StormPay and that is sent to 12DP at time of transaction. The money is now in 12DP's hands. And they use it for their purposes of running the business. We surf and after 12 days...money is returned to us through StormPay.
Why does 12DP need to withdraw a large sum of money from StormPay? Isn't it sent to them at time of transaction when we make the upgrade. Do they (12DP) not already have it because it was sent to them originally when we make payment to them.

Now don’t get me wrong, I am not bashing 12DP nor EMO, I am just stating true facts.
OK, so SP is an as****e, I agree with that, but some of the blame for all this mess must lie with 12DP themselves. (I love the 12DP program and I also love EMO, but I am not at all fond of SP, ) but some of the decisions that the 12DP Admin have made, have not always been in the best interest of their members, for the following reasons.
It was 12DP’s decision to leave E-Gold and go to EMO. Why? Well, 12DP were fed up with the cheaters. OK, so what’s wrong with that? Nothing - and I agree that they should have done something about cheaters. However, their choice does not appear to be a good one quite obviously. Instead of passing the buck and getting EMO to do all the verifications for them, 12DP should have done the verifications themselves.
By trying to take a short cut and involving another payment processor, i.e. EMO, 12DP have only created more problems because it seems quite obvious that SP are pissed off with the competition from EMO. Lets’ face it; EMO by 12DP’s own admission was inundated with request to open more than 10,000 accounts.
SP and E-Gold were working side by side with AS programs and it didn’t bother SP because E-Gold was not a threat to them. However, with 10,000 new accounts being created in EMO, poor hard done by SP started to get a sweat on and realized if that many people want to open an EMO account then “oh dear, we are going to lose all those lovely fat fees we are charging.”
In conclusion, 12DP have pissed off SP, SP are pissed off with EMO, EMO are pissed off with 12DP for dropping them, all the members are pissed off with everyone and the only one laughing all the way to the bank is E-Gold. The moral of this story is. IF IT ‘AIN’T BROKE, DON’T FIX IT!

Let Charis handle it till we know what is going on!!
Geeez!!
I dont agree with that, what Charis says is no NEGATIVE feedback, but in my opinion, we should all do something, one ticket from each of us, not negative, but stating our fears and maybe "pleading"some.., if we all stand together, then SP will get the message..

I don't think emo is too pissed about 12dp dropping them either. I'm sure they understand, and like charis said, a new site is being made, which will accept emo, thus they shouldn't be pissed. E-gold is out of the question.
