You know, people can b ch and complain about what happened. The fact to the matter is that 12DP had no choice in adopting SP since the majority of the members use stormpay as their processor. Wether SP did what they did because of greed or some other reason, the fact remains that they did it. And 12DP being caring towards the members had to do what's best for them. SO in the end we have to accept this outcome and live with it. If you are unable or unhappy with 12DP then you can wait for the new site which is coming out in a few days (Maybe 12DPtoo) which accepts EMO. My feeling is that you will have two sites. One that only accepts SP and one that only accepts EMO....

Yeah I just read that E mail as well, but it's funny. 12dp acts like it's soo damn upset, but if you go to the homepage, there banner for Stormpay has there referal link. So for every person that uses that link to sign up for stormpy, they will get commission on all of those spends. I wouldn't be suprised that most people that switch from EMO to Stormpay will probably do that through 12dp's site (after all they probably have 12dp bookmarked for easy access). This affilliate program is part of 12dp's "multiple income streams".
I have been using stormpay from day 1, but it's not like this new development hurts 12dp so damn much.

Well, reading SP's reasoning, then 12DP could stop paying commissions and still use EMO. So could anyone else, they are only threatening the sites that offer commissions. But not offering commissions would take out the whole reason to promote the sites (and the scams). Oh, what to do?

I was about to go to EMO but I did not feel right about it. Anyway you EMO user get a quick compound in the system which ultimately means you earn more money more quickly. Stormpay payouts take around 4-5 days at present.

Also AlienTrust has just the Stormpay option and it seems to be working fine for them. So it will work fine for 12DP etc. Yes - it would be nice to have another payment processor option , but my advice is this -

That is very serious. I didn't know that, as I haven't tried to withdraw to my account yet. And their fees amount to usary, in my book. People can be so gullible, happily letting them deduct huge amounts from their payments!

Yeah SP takes a decent amount of time for direct deposits... Oh how I miss egold and the bullion exchange... Diversifying to some "lower yield" programs soon so I can use them again.. Still staying with 12dp though...

Each time I try to add another link in mine I keep getting a "your signature is too long" message.
I asked the moderator and he gave me a link to a site that will shorten the url. I don't think anyone will click on a link of ABCD/Carl for 12 Daily pro.
I really would like to add a third link into my signature without omitting another.
Any one know what I need to do?

My money is still pending after 3 days from Stormpay.
A professional payment processor wouldnt have all those crap on their website like, auctions, stormclix, etc.

Hold on - think about it - their major source of income is from HYIPs and Autosurfs or havent you noticed their fee structure. They will not shoot themselves in the foot, but rather become the whole body!

Sounds like a StormPay conspiracy doesn't it? Maybe they hired some hackers to do some dirty work for them, spreading rumours and discontent among e-Gold users.

Not me, I've been using SP since the begining... that was a problem a few weeks ago; however, in the news that seemed to be all resolved. Just to let others know I've been using SP without problems for quite awhile now with no problems. That's just me though.

Ok - point taken but
1. EG has been going down on and off for 24 months 2. SP NETIBA is a good thing 3. I dont think the Stormpay rang the FBI and said 'Agent Mulder we have a crisis!" 4. No one forces a PTS or HYIP to use SP it is up to the individual admins 5. Having SP only Autosurf etc may be a good thing for the long term credibility of the industry ie (AlienTrust and now 12DP) 6. Mel Gibson is not driving the yellow cab any more (ie Conspiracy Theory)

What are you smokin and are you willing to share?
You mention that most of the programs end up callapsing due to fruad, This is TRUE unfortunetly it really isn't the fruad you are reffering to and it is the fact that the admins tend to get greedy and run. OR they failed to pay due to ponzi structure and recieved to many claimes against them and were frozen. OR they had website problems and people are impatient and ended up filing claims and freezing the account holders account therefore noone got paid...
Anyway I can think of tons of reasons for why these sites are closing but very few are because of a stormpay to egold or visa versa transaction...
Yeah I like the fact that ScamPay is protecting my investments by not allowing me to use a competitor that offers better rates and better service and doesn't go around freezing account for no good reason.
Yeah I appreciate them holding onto my funds for 10+ days on a simple draft... Oh yeah but thats them protecting my funds right?
Oh yes I love it when they protect my funds by not allowing the program that has my funds return them to me....

Hmm is this any different? The only way it harms stormpay is by them not recieving their commission off of EVERY transaction... They should be happy with the 75% they already have.
Pay Pal would never come out saying anything like "You can only use us" <And by the way PayPal has nothing against the AS industry its only those admins that don't pay that get their accounts frozen (look at dadndaves, eprofit ect that all accept paypal with no issues... I hope these guys drop kick Scam Pay instead of their other upgrade alternatives....)

I have 100% Full confidence in 12DP and its administration.
I have an upgrade that expired on 01/22 that shows as pending to EMO, I have since switched to Stormpay and followed the directions set forth in the updates. I know that 12DP will come through just like they have every single time there has been a major issue.
What frustrates me is those that see this as an issue that just effects 12DP. Some of the conspircey theories that I have read in this thread are astonishing.
Didn't want to be left out of this insane debate.

I am very certain that SP won't give a da*n if other small time autosurf decides to use more than one payment processor.
I agree that SP is just trying to protect this cash cow that they have and are afraid to lose some of the cow's teats to another.
However, I just feel that their swashbuckling manner of facing competition is simply unprofessional.
If their service terms are more attractive than EMO's, then they would have nothing to worry about and would not need to resort to such childish actions (the "either you're with us or you're against us" behaviour... hmm sounds familiar...).
Alternatively, if EMO is really a threat because they offer better terms, the correct action to take would be to give better value to their customers in order to win over the competition. You don't see Sony voiding the warranty on your playstation just because you bought an XBOX as well no?
I am just appalled at the way stormpay is dealing with this but if the rest of you think it is ok then so be it. At least 12DP has alternative means to handle SP's underhand tactics and for that, I am grateful.

Go and try and selling something on ebay and receive payment via stormpay. Can only use paypal.
Stormpay isn't the only processor to dictate who they do business with and has every right to do so,
in my opinion.

Monopolization is a fact of life, like globalism. You cant stop it you must adapt to it and learn to use it.
For example - Google is becoming the gatekeeper of information for the new millennium. The power and responsibility this gives Google is enormous. How we get information online is to some extent controlled by Google. Google controls my information flow - one is advertising and the other is personalization (and now email)
Who uses all the little search engines nowadays (and there are still hundreds of them)
My point is this - If Stormpay monopolizes the market so what, as long as they have integrity, guard against fraud and have great customer service and increase the efficiency of their overall program that is GOOD. Nothing is stopping anyone out there from starting a Autosurf or HYIP with just an eGold or EMO payment processor. Just like no one is forcing you to by a MAC or a PC, but if you want to fight the monopolization go ahead - i prefer to bend with the changing market place and profit from it - rigid trees tend to topple in a storm!

For those of us who can use Stormpay, it makes sense to change all upgrades from EMO to Stormpay to get your money out faster. However, the problem is can you really trust Stormpay with your money? Do they still freeze peoples accounts and steal their money for no reason, or have things improved since the days when Ancient had a Stormpay account? I have been in Stormpay for a few months but I have always had account levels below 2k. I mainly use it for AlienTrust and I have had no problems so far. However, my account levels would rise significantly if I used Stormpay for 12dp. I don't know how safe my money would be. Are there any opinions on this?

From what I recall PayPal has pretty much been the only accepted payment processor by Ebay even before. They merged....
And whats wrong with Ebay only accepting PayPal as they are the SAME COMPANY...
This is a completely different scenario and cannot be compared to the EBAY / PAYPAL connection.... And if you wanted to look at it as EBAY and PAYPAL not being the same company it is EBAY's decision to only accept PAYPAL and not PAYPALS decision...
This would be different if say 12DP bought STORMPAY (or visa versa) then chose to only accept stormpay... This isn't the case this is a second company demanding a non related company to use them and only them.
