One of the problems I see with new launches is the ones that are not in the calendar seem to get the least amont of attention. The ones in the calendar are scheduled to launch at a certain time and everyone sits in front of their computer waiting, therefore more and more ppl are signing up and investing. Doublers that launch without a specified launch time seem to be all hype for the first few hours, then they die down. Why? Because ppl think they didn't get in early enough to play the game and take advantage. I wish all these new doublers, like Vital Doubler this morning would set launch times, that way more and more ppl will be ready from the get go. Existing members logging into the forum now will probably not invest in Vital Doubler because its hours old. I know its a bad mentality, but that's just the way it is. Ppl think they didn't get in early enough, but if the launch was planned, each of us would be ready to go once the launch time arrives. I think if we as a group tell admins to scheduled launch times things will work out better for all of us in the long run and the program will run much smoother.

People think secret launches are cool. They don't stress their servers, etc.
They also know that if they come here you'll get me, ownage, ezdouble, asfx and a few other big spenders and they think we'll keep it going but we obviously won't succeed in a 4-5 person cycle. Who knows what the hell is going on but with all these popping up because they now know where to get freeworld, I'm thinking of not coming back and refunding all the accounts on my site. At least I did things right and so did some other like cycleandtwist, etc but if we try to do anything now it's like dog eat dog...one day you're here, the next you're dogmeat. A lot of the new ones don't know how to run a site but if they can get a script on ebay they'll do it and run the site anyway. This is why when my new script is complete there is going to be some questioning before I sell it and I'm going to make it an exclusive script instead of people having the ability to sell it on ebay. The game stays the same, just the cast of characters keeps changing.
From now on, i'm only going to put my money in calendar events. Those are the ones ppl are waiting for. Unless its in calendar, i'm not going to invest. There just isn't enough ppl to help push these doublers along.
Better tell Jason to get working on that calender then. It seems to be very time consuming to keep up with it.
Its not even a question of keep the calendar up to date. What matters is the admins of these programs launch these doublers blindly and don't build up a good solid membership or give ppl enough advanced noticed. If all of use members knew about and were ready, the launch and the doubler would be more successful. All it takes is proper planning.
