Yup it is a forum community as well. I think it is more of a portal with forum in it.

I want to learn forex guess i will be heading to the site and do some research heard marketiva is good any comments?
I'm with Marketiva
I trade forex with 2 systems that I'm currently using and have been making some nice profits, ranging between 1% to 5% daily. My best record is 24% in a single day! I'm using FXSOL now, but I'm considering some other brokers as FXSOL has recently increased the swap rates i.e. I am paying interest for the currencies I'm holding instead of receiving. I was looking at North Finance awhile ago and I like the part where they accept e-gold as well as the massive 500:1 leverage. However, the downside is similar to FXSOL i.e. high swap rates. Seems like the only options that I have left is GFT or 1World.
is there any broker or trustable site in SG which we can engage the broker to invest for us ? preferbly with egold because kindda a chore to switch here and there
and is there anyone here tt can "teach" me how to do forex because no matter how i look @ it, i still got no nuts LOL QUOTE(Jetzie @ Jan 2 2007, 01:51 PM) is there any broker or trustable site in SG which we can engage the broker to invest for us ? preferbly with egold because kindda a chore to switch here and there and is there anyone here tt can "teach" me how to do forex because no matter how i look @ it, i still got no nuts LOL I know that FXCM has an office in Singapore but they don't accept egold. There are few brokers (worldwide) that accept egold in reality. You can trade forex with POEM too but I dislike the 20:1 leverage. Regarding your learning, you can open an demo account with many of the brokers around and literally start trading yourself. Believe me, this is the best way to learn. There are many learning resources too and I can cite a few here: www.babypips.com www.forex.com/learn.html www.tradingacademy.com/freeclasses/forex/ Forex.com is actually a broker too. However, the lot size its offering is too big for many beginners.
Hmm... Just spoken to 1world-forex.com today. After some negotiation, I've managed to get the 400:1 leverage which is only available to Freedom Rocks members.
I'm planning to open a demo account first to familiarize with the features (basically a Meta Trader) before proceeding to a live account.
I used to trade with marketiva, n learning to use NF\'s metatrader4. But due to the lack of time to manage, I stop trading a few months ago.

I've looked at the swap rates at saxobank. On the first impression it seems ridiculous. For example, when we look at the two major currency pairs:
USDCHF Long: -0.000084 Short: -0.000131 USDJPY Long: -0.0145 Short: -0.018 This means we are losing money in terms of interest when we hold the two currency pairs above, either long or short. In other brokers, such as 1world, we stand to gain interest instead. This is really strange. Am I missing something here?
I hope I know the answer to that but too bad I am a noob when in comes to forex man.
But I think there should be a catch somewhere in this. |
