It's gotta be in the 40's here in Vegas tonight. Coldest weather I have ever lived in, and man is it miserable.

So, how cold is it where you are?

Our car froze this morning from the weather.. We had -40 degrees celcius with wind chill yesterday. fear2.gif
Not sure how cold that is in Fahrenheit.

Couple schools were close because kids would get instant frost bite. Couple homeless people ended up dying too.

Yeah it was a cold couple days.. Warming up a little by tommorrow though. smile.gif

Man, I am glad that I am not there. That kind of cold is hard to work in, and for that matter survive in. That is rough. Very seldom gets below zero fahrenheit here. smile.gif

we have 365 days of bright & warm weather here in the south pacific tropical islands.
no winter or cold season here.
just lots & lots of sunshine.
it must be fun to live in a 4-season country.
it creates different moods & stimulates the mind during winter or periods of hibernation. smile.gif
while all i do is go out and drink coconuts. lildevil.gif

It was about 10 degrees Celsius here today (east coast of Scotland), nice and sunny but felt a bit colder in the wind.

November this year has been quite mild - maybe global warming is kicking in - I remember last November was either very wet or very frosty, but we have had no frost at all so far. About 10 days ago there was snow on the mountains but I think that has melted in the mild temperatures.

I check the webcams every day for Switzerland and Norway where I like to go on holiday and even there November has been mild. There's no snow in the Alps in Switzerland. Arctic Norway had some snow earlier in the month but it has been mild recently.

Nice thread - seems like we go from -40 Celsius to +39 Celsius, quite a variation. smile.gif

The weather is topping out around 32F today in my neck of the woods biggrin.gif

Ironically, Global Warming will actually make the UK and much of Western Europe much colder as the Gulf Stream weakens. The end of a warm water current bringing warm air up from the tropics will spell the end of the relatively mild winters. The thames will again freeze over like you see in those old photos.

Seems like winter is starting later and later every year. That would be fine except, summer keeps getting pushed back as well. A few more years I might see snow in June.
