I'm looking to get into trading stocks. I'm looking for a broker that i can start with 100$ Is there sites that will allow me to use such low amounts?
What you plan to invest?
Its hard to make money with only $100
There is lot of online brokers listed above!!
Good Luck
Hi Marktw69,
You can check out www.optionsxpress.com as that have no min to open an account.... But in my personal option, $100 is really too little to start investing. Considering most in the money options will cost alot more plus comissions. Cheers Brian QUOTE(Marktw69 @ Nov 27 2006, 10:17 AM) I'm looking to get into trading stocks. Otherwise, very simple, do the search, pick site with lowest commissions (or sign up offers), check if the site have been online for a while (Alexa), sign up, verify and GO. Many banks have trading sections too. Pay attention to fees for level II quotes (if any) Pick sites that have nice graphing. If you can, set dack background on graphs, a bit easier on eyes. In US, my picj is Ameritrade. They are a big merger of several independent firms operated independently in the past. Best of luck.
There many discount brokers out here that allows one to open an account with $100...ie lowtrades, choicetrade, tradingdirect etc...do check there websites for more details...
I use TDameritrade and like it OK but have been looking at zecco.com
Is anyone familiar with zecco.com they claim you can trade stocks free up to 40 trades a month and it's not introductory but there is a $30 yearly maintenance fee (might be a problem for $100 account) But TD charges $10 per trade even that will get into your budget fast If anyone is familiar with zecco please respond MIC
humn
Yes, $100 it`s too small for trading

So if somebody have only $100 to start, zecco.com is the way to go. I'm thinking to switch over too
try CFD on stocks...
as for my broker you can buy microsoft stock at $15/per stock 1 lot if $15x1000 = $15k of course current price is $30+ this is because of leverage 2:1 $100 you can make money provided if your skill enough some trades can make $500 to $3k in less then 24 hours....so it all depends on your skill hope it helps QUOTE(Marktw69 @ Nov 27 2006, 10:17 AM) I'm looking to get into trading stocks. OptionsXpress would be a great choice since they have a complete set of learning tools. education is the key to makeing consistant profits in the market. One feature they have is Virtual Trading. Here everything happens in real time and with commisions charged so you can test out your ideas and profit, or loss, potential with play money and not your own real money. Practice, practice, practice - BEFORE YOU USE REAL MONEY. There are a number ways to make money in any market with a fair amount of safety but you need to know how to protect yourself. We have been with OptionsXpress for years because they are one of the few brokers that let you trade what you want and how you want. Ameritrade, Scottrade etc., all of the big old tired brokers, force you to only trade the way they decide and most of them will lie to you to make their point - I hate them. We have had accounts with all of them over the years and most of the well known brokerage houses are fools and worse.
how much is needed minimum ?
not many brokers would be interested in opening an account for just 100 dollars
hey buddy
first of all i would like to suggest you that you must put in some more money. you have a very limited funds to invest. secondly you must take decision as where you would like to invest. online broker is not a big deal you will certainly get one if you search. i guess lot of names and sites are mentioned so you can get the best deal. but try to increase your funds in order to have high returns good luck pal |
