I have been trying to invest but keep getting account number invalid when I try and pay them with egold. Sent several support tickets but no joy yet.

Your best bet would probably be to pay with E-Billion e-currency and remember, before you click on the "save your account" tab print that page (after you have filled it out) for your records. They don't have a back office and they don't send any confirmation e-mails.

Hmm the phrase "The E-Gold payment will be activated again within the next 2 days" has been there for more than 2 days now, so I guess e-bullion is the one and only method to make a spend to HCI25 right now, and in the nearest future I think. I have some funds in my e-gold account so personally I would also like this processor was active as well.

Does the target of 27,000 mean 27,000 people? Or 27,000 contracts? If each of members buys 3 contracts for himself, it will be 9,000 members total...

The target of 27,000 refers to CONTRACTS.

With the problems e-gold is having, you may want to look to other options. I know e-bullion is another option.

Possibly send a message to support as I do not see that this question has been answered anywhere on the site.

The traded endowment policy market could double in the next two to three years, according to the Association of Policy Market Makers.

Demand from Germany has meant that the level of purchases increased sharply in 2006. The Association of Policy Market Makers (APMM) said that its six members were reporting increases in demand.

Brian Goldstein, chairman of the APMM, said: “The TEP market has never been so busy, as German institutions clamour to buy policies for their funds with the big houses back for a second round of funds.

“For these investors TEPs are so attractive because they have a minimum guarantee, which increases over time, a set purchase price and the potential to make significant gains.”

Mr Goldstein said that German investment houses that had originally invested in UK TEP funds two years ago were now so confident that they have invested into a second fund. He said UK names were favoured for their reputation for stability.

He said: “Endowment policyholders who are considering disposing of their policy are now likely to receive more money for their endowment than before.

“Our members are paying out an average of 15% more than surrender value and sometimes up to 30% more.”

In 2005, the market was more than $400.000.000. I am not quite sure if it was only in UK, or if it was only one company, but we are talking about a big amount of money whitch are increasing very much.
