I've just started a new program - which is up and running however how can I go about generating traffic.

And if I did what would be the the quickest and cheapest way.

I like this site, however it's just way too expensive for me right now.

all of that things work...but if you want to bring the big boys in you got to advertise at the forums like mmg or tg or kod

Try to be honest, pay regulary to your investors, it`s the best way to popularize your program.

GravyDude I too face the same problem about getting others to know about my business's program.

You might want to get ads space in big forums or can just put a banner in your signature (which I did). These are all cost effective ways to promote at least in my opinion.

But remember promoting it is one thing, getting people to join and stay in your program is another. It is always more important to be good and honest about the program so that people can gain trust in it first.

Secondly the reputation of the program is also very important because I do have a few people who call me saying they are interested but wondering how long my business has been around. Luckily for me, my business has been around for 3 years hence the trust is there.

It depend on your program type. If you launched a HYIPs or Autosurfs site, it really need a huge advertising to attract user. You can also try common advertising like adsense or adbrite.
