Well, we're now woking on the 9th day, and I still have not received payment and I've got another due on the 15th. I've posted my screen shot every single time I've been paid, which by the way, I don't understand why we have to do that, however I've done it every single time. We haven't had any update from the admin. over the last 5 or 6 days about the late payments. To be honest, it's a little ridiculous to have to wait this long past the pay date. I had plans for that money and now I've already lost 7-9 days of interest. I would say something needs to change, to make sure payments aren't consistently late like this.

I think it would be better if we had only 1 payday per month. Judge yourself, we have 3 paydays per month at the moment: every 10 days. This means that Nabil & Calvin have to exchange e-gold every 10 days in 1/3 parts. I think it would give them less headache if there was only 1 payday per month. This would mean no payment delays etc.

Maybe we should join forces (those who are for it) and ask them to review this suggestion?

Richard.

I disagree with your suggestion. One payday per month will not solve the problems with e-gold. E-gold has been a problem in the past from time to time and probably will always be a problem to some extent. That is why NFL wanted to come up with an alternative for e-gold. I did switch mine from e-gold to CEP recently. I still think COF needs to consider e-bullion as an alternative. This is my 2 cents worth on this subject.

The best alternative would be to set up offshore accounts with debit cards for everyone . I hope Calvin and Cayman think about it .

I think Richard was talking more about the fact that COF have to exchange 3 times a month as opposed to the current problems with e-gold downtime. I agree with Richard and would happily switch to 1 payout a month.

Exactly. I wasn't talking about e-gold itself. I was talking about the number of paydays per month. I am glad Nick agrees with me. This gives us 2 wealth creators who would happily switch to 1 payday per month.

Hello Pierre,

If you have regular payments for one year at least and if you get paid rather good amounts and not peanuts,
then yes, I suppose that this solution would probably be one of best today. Otherwise, not really, at least
because of the cost, but maybe that an offshore account would be more "safe" than all these online
e-currency and online payment processors that we see today online anyway? I'm not sure but what
to do then...

Tomorrow is the 15th, so next pay should arrive in the next days. smile.gif

Have all a nice weekend. smile.gif

There are still people waiting for 4/5 payment, so I certainly would not expect 4/15 payments anytime soon.

To my mind it's very easy , COF Admin wants members to choose another payout option like PayPal or CEP Trust and I can understand ... e-gold is not very secure at this time to say the least ... that's why e-gold payouts are getting longer and longer sad.gif
But I would personally prefer my future payouts go to e-bullion or even better to an offshore account biggrin.gif

Would really appreciate an update from Calvin or Nabil right about now.

Well, if this is the case then there really isn't an option for me. I refuse to jepordize my paypal account, as I use it far too often for auctions and I won't open a Ceptrust account, because I do not trust them. Egold has been around the longest and I've never had a problem with them. I in exchange gold often and it never takes more than 4-5 business days.

so..are we assuming then, that if I had already given them CEPTrust number, that my payout should be on time? No one probably knows the answer to that except Calvin or Nabil, so I guess we'll soon find out, since I did do just that when asked.

Ok, just to let everyone know, Calvin has emailed me about my situation. He is saying that my spend from 1/30 is not due till 4/15. I do not agree with that and have sent him another email. Basically, I was paid on 3/5 for that spend. 30 days from 3/5 would make my next payday 4/5, not 4/15. I explained this to him, so we will see what comes out of it. As far as I can tell, the only month that payouts would change in date, would be Feb. to March due to Feb only having 28 days. That did not affect me, because my spend was on 1/30, making my first payout on 3/5. If I'm looking at this all wrong, someone please lmk, but as far as I can see, 30 days from 3/5 would be 4/5 for my next payout. thanks

Not necessarily, especially that 4/5 payments are late, he can simply get the money for all who are due payments both for 4/5 and 4/15 and pay them soon... But if he is waiting that we give him a CEP account name before he pays us, then I find that it is annoying, not to say "bs"...

Unless he would now pay only around 15th and 25th? How was it for the majority of members who are to be paid on the 5th for last pay?
Linda7
As far as I would understand the payout schedule has not changed.

This is effective from any deposits from 21st Dec'06 onwards.

Deposits from 21st-31st Dec, Payout will be 5th Feb'07.

Deposits from 1st-10th Jan, Payout will be 15th Feb'07.

Deposits from 11th-20th Jan, Payout will be 25th Feb'07.

The reason why we've only 3 payout dates is similar like running your typical corporation/business whereby most employers only pay TWICE a month or once per mth.

For those who got multiple deposits/spends in COF, your payouts will be amalgamated
into 1 to be paid by the 5th, 15th or 25th of ea. mth.

I am assuming that any upgrades that you made between
1-10th of the month payout on 15th
11-20th of the month payout on the 25th
21-31 of the month payout on the 5th

right? Why aren't the admins coming here to clear this up? post-36326-1110185726.gif
