I have a couple of friends who are thinking about starting a 1-2% Auto-Surf program and I am supposed to be gettin' em some good info

At this point, there are so many good ones out there that I am thinking it almost wouldn't be worth the effort...

Any thoughts?

IF they really want to start one, then they have to use outside funds like FOREX or something like this. a little shop and advertising is not enough

Yeh ... they must have to do any offline or atleast do business in forex ...to make enough to cover members monthly profit.

I would say no. Auto surf is just a trend right now and soon most of them will die out (except for the really stable ones). Too much saturation in the market. Wait for the next big thing and open one of those.

Yes Uncle Jesse, that is kinda what I am starting to think. If one would have started one even just 2 months ago...things would be booming right now. On the other hand, so long as you are able to proove within the first couple of months that you really mean business, you will stand out above all the other Auto-Surfs as one to put alot of money into, and outlasting all these "flying by the seat of their pants" type auto-surfs would be easy, with, like you said, only the really stable ones left eventually.

Not only that, but you need some nice capital to start with.
Many people join just because of a first free membership benefit
You need to plan it very well, you gotta plan the traffic it's gonna use, the bandwitch you gonna have, how much you going to spend on domain/hosting, how much you can pay for people for free (like ST does, giving U$10 free), if you going to do it, of course, you gotta plan the spends on advertising, banners, style, script, programming, maintanence, etc...
It's a lot of work, I must say! And as you said many programs are out there already
But if you manage to make something new and especially different with the looking, success will come as time passess...

I believe the capital is there...around $5k...

BUT...I am wondering if anyone has any ideas on how to make it defferent than any of the current auto-surfs...something that might make it stand out.

Also, the current compensation plan looks like this:

1.5% per day for 100 days.
That means that the company would only have to pay out 50% over 100 days, which is about 15% per month that would have to be made from different investments.

These guys have a few connections in the investing world, so it is looking like a definately possiblily...and you also have to figure in the fact that many members would be compounding........LOTS OF DIFFERENT FACTORS

Again, if anyone has any ideas that might change the way we look at auto-surfs, like combining it with an online casino...lol...just throwin ideas out there

Obviously, if you had read the very first post, you would have seen that it is not me who would be managing anything...

I'd say you should take the worst case scenario, and plan according to if all members compounded for x amount of time.

I preffer manual surfing. i like to advertise in manual surf site. 1000 credits in auto surf site, and 1000 credits in manual surf site is diff. you can reduce the member page view to 25 or 30 in manual surf. no need to 100. one fact is if you increase the member page ie, say 100 or 200 sites a day you are actually ruin your own resources, your bandwidth and your server resources.

i preffer a manual surf with 25 site view for a person in a day, and you don't need to give much credit to members. ie, 0.25 or 0.5 per page is enough. main income is sell credit a 1000 credit for 5$, but it worth, many people like to advertise in manual surf. and many manual surf sites here are not allowing a good income opportunity for thier members only auto surf is allowing it. frankly i never look at autosurf windows as 90% people in this site do.

1.5% is really good anything >=1% is good.

what ever may be the site, whether its manual or auto too much of page views ruin yourself. and many people will think opposite, the admins think they are giving x% per day so make members maximum surfing. but if you do so, you have to go for high end dedicated server. and simply this will eat up your resources and maintanance cost is high.

and about trend. what ever may be the trend whether its autosurf, hyip or doubler people only search whether you pay or not. autosurf site can generate both online income too though thier maintanace cost is high.

just consider ST as an example, many companies like yahoo , google spending millions for ads. and a survey from yahoo state that a online company need a customer to purchase its product two times to make it in profit. that much they are spending for advertisment. here in autosurf, you will get a large audience to advertise your product. thats the main income for any site. for ST they don't want to spend money for advertising studiopay or studionstore etc. they already have a large audience to buy and use thier services the goodness is these audience have ability to purchase product in online and have atleast one online currency account. in other words - TARGETED CUSTOMERS , if you did some advertising and promotions you know its hard to get some targetted customers. once again just rethink , if studiotraffic is not there, how much money should studio organisation spend to advertise their sites studiopay and studio rocks etc. now they didn't spend a cent out of pocket to advertise these site.

online casino is a good option , so as dating sites. these are high income generators in the internet, considering the cost of ads and maintanance. a payment processor site need much investment to keep track its database and need high security etc. better start one online dating site, casino and a simple betting sites first. these are not much expensive to start.
you can have a look at 123etraffic thread in mmg, recently they launched some good amount of site. till now many people are ingonoring it including me, though it was there for about some months. they launched a good amount of site, so you will get some ideas which one to start, considering cost.
