Happy Nov 1. I'd like to ask for your help in a matter totally non-related to "autosurfing" ... so I thought this "I Just Wanted to Say" area would be the best place to put it ...
As some of you know, I owned and operated E-BusinessOnline for about 8 months and have been very involved in the autosurfing/e-biz industry. However, I was so busy I was abandoning my true passion, which is worship and instrumental music.
I have an "Artist Page" at IndieHeaven.Com where my music is featured, and every month, on the 1st of the month, they reset the homepage stats which feature "Most Visited Artist", "Highest Rated Artist", "Most Previewed Song", etc.
I'd like to ask you to take a moment and help me get an exposure boost by doing the following - it will only take about 1-2 minutes of your time. Now - for those who are really ambitious - you can do this EVERY DAY ... but even if you just do it once, it would be a huge help ... please consider helping me:
1. Visit my Artist Page at http://www.indieheaven.com/artists/fredmckinnon
2. Listen to some music (I recommend the instrumental, "Restless", which will soothe any day's frustrations!
3. At the bottom of the page, fill out the Comment Form and give me a "rating". This helps me in the "Highest Rated Artist" stats. Also, you can opt-in or opt-out of receiving my "fan newsletter" or IndieHeavens' emails.
4. Then, visit their "Radio Station"page and vote for my song "Restore My Heart" ... you simply scroll down and find the song (Currently, it's around #30 - maybe higher by the time you read this!) and click on it - it should start playing. You SCROLL BACK UP to the #1 song, and just above, under "Now Playing" you should see my picture and the song "Restore My Heart". To the right, mouseover the 5-stars and rate the song.
I realize this is die-hard self promotion, and part of me hates that ... but the other part of me wants to be a good "steward" of the gift and talents given me, and since this website gets TONS OF HITS and MARKETING EXPOSURE, I'd like to be represented well there.
