Your PC used to access the e-gold account probably have been infected by viruses or key logger.

no method is fool-proof, the easiest way is to keep minimal amount of e-gold in your account

I don't think you can get your money back. Sorry to tell you this. But egold wont' help you to get it back. You should report to egold so that they can put a limit to this guy's egold account so that his account can longer receive money!

You scan your pc every week, use SRK but still get hacked. Are you using your pc from home? Anyone has accessed to it? The way I see it, your antivirus is not detecting the virus . Make sure you update it regularly...check that you get some kind of virus cleaned before you open another egold account. Try changing your egold password now. Use a email add. never used before for registering any programs..esp.autosurf.

what sort of AV u use? anyway, i also use online AV scans periodically so that hopefully if one dont get it, then another will. a couple of online scans u could use is here:

you may want to consider getting a new EG account and perhaps consider using 1mdc to store any excess EG there

what is the method use to steal your money? is it by use oz weight troy? or using USD? if it s using weight troy.. the possibility is goes to trojan horse that has been implemented in your PC system..

1. Stinger (McAfee product)
2. Kaspersky Antivirus -- i heard this AV is so powerfull nowadays.. can detect new virus which cant by famous AV (Norton n McAfee).. im thinking of switching this with my Norton..

tips: dont use more than one AV.. because it maybe leads to conflict in your system..
