well, time will tell I guess.. that is 7 business days.. Good admin should have personal record over members' investment instead of relying on the script. So 7 busines days is the reasonable benchmark of the admin's honesty

I submitted a ticket 4 days ago without response on their behalf. I see that my account is set up to "0" with NO withdrawal informations... Should I submit a ticket again?
This misadventure reminds me very bad memories: FIG and many other solid programs with "honest" admins crashed down shortly after they tried to change their scripts... Nothing new under the sun!!!

as according to the reply i received from Anthony in my EV support ticket, my withdrawal requested before the move was not recognized during the transition and he will honor my withdrawal requested. so with that reply, i assume that i will receive my pending payout in 2 days time even without the amount reflected in my account. however, the problem here with GP is that there isn't any reply for my support ticket and nothing is showing in my account balance and withdrawal history. what worries me is what if my GP withdrawal requested before the move was not recognized during the transition too and with this leak of communication, i am not able to know what is happening to my pending payout requested before the move.

Well I requested my withdraw on 11/1. I then submitted a support ticket 4 days ago. I DID receive a response yesterday. It basically said all withdrawals would be updated and paid out as planned. I am just now coming up on 7 Biz Days and am comfortable giving a few extra days.
I have lost over $1K this week on over 7 scam programs in the past 2 weeks. None of the admins were coming to the forums upon problems surfacing. If GP is really a scam, why are they publishing the new script, and why are they still communicating with us?? I would at least give them until you are paid or they dissapear. If I get paid, I will re-invest as it will give them more legitimacy than I have seen with mosty others.

I am a web programmer and designer (quite poor in design though!)... I was the admin of GoldMinersClub (which I have apparently closed 4 days back because of lack of support!). I have been dealing with databases since college and I know pretty much about it.. All HYIPS (if not, almost) uses MySQL as the database management system. It's basically a PHP-MySQL web technology as they call it. If you will notice.. most programs have the .php extension on its filenames. PHP is the scripting language and it talks to the MySQL server to query information... user information, deposits, withdrawals, everything! When database is screwed, it is screwed! That's it! The only way to restore it completely and FLAWLESSLY is if the webmaster makes frequent backups. When backups are made, it's just like a simple COPY + PASTE operation.. Webmaster downloads the database from the server to his local PC, then when uploads it again in the server in order to restore it. Depending on the speed of your internet connection and size of the database, it could take only hours to restore a database... not days... weeks.. as I said, it's merely like overwriting a file when making a restore. If I am the webmaster and I am to make database maintenance, I wouldn't allow users to "play around" when it is still getting repaired. This is the only logical thing to do! Why would you allow someone to play around something which is not fully working while you are still on the process of repairing it? Doesn't make sense right? Now what I wanted to point out is simple.. site maintenance, script upgrade, database upgrade doesnt take too long if you are just merely "upgrading" or "restoring"... you are not building something from scratch. When I programmed and designed GoldMinersClub.. it took me 4 weeks! Because it is from scratch! No template, no existing database, nothing. If you have been to YouTube.com which is obviously a far bigger website.. their maintenance only takes hours... not days. Now to wrap up, I dont want to insinuate that something fishy is going on with these programs. I could always be wrong.. and I dont know the admin.. or the webmasters... or whatever script they are dealing with. But what I am exposing here is the technical side of things which I myself could vouch for as I speak from knowledge and experience. I hope you guys learned something... but you dont have to believe me though.

But maybe you are right. I have seen the old EV and genesisprofits (which I think is based on GoldCoders?) and this new one is quite different. In anyways, the admin shouldnt be really allowing members to "play around" it while still in the process of "transformation". I've got few glitches too with GoldMinersClub and I had to freeze and refund all deposits until I had everything ironed out. Database re-work on the other hand is a bit dangerous I should say. There is a risk of tampering and loss of data integrity when you transfer old information to a new database structure. But it still possible to do it safely though BUT with the use of a special script which would do the transfers automatically. And when you say automatic.. again.. this shouldn't take days. If info is being transferred manually.. woow.. really dangerous... and could take ages! To give you more idea... the database structure in HYIP programs arent really that complex. If you know MySQL you can make the database in 5-10mins. It just has very few simple fields: Username, Password, Email Address, E-Gold Account No., Referral ID, Investment Amount, Withdrawal Amount. These fields alone is enough to make a member database. You do this in 5-10mins... still depends on how fast you type!
