hmmm... I thought I used to see a page on e-gold that said that you could have your metal shipped to you (had a minimum amount though). I can't find it anymore. Does anyone know what happened?

You have to work out the legalities yourself (or seek legal advice) but I am aware of two cards that you can use to extract your egold directly from ATM machines or to use in stores that accept EFT-POS (i.e. swipe cards with a PIN), which is most of the major department stores plus more and more retailers. I don't know about getting cash from the stores but you could buy goods and merchandise.

isnt it like 10K a bar?

hmmm I have heard in talkgold it's 200k what you need to get the special gold bar. I think E-gold won't bother sending gold bar for only 10k Alot of people have 10k.
I'm not even sure if it's secure to have with courier so much money. I wonder is it possible the gold bar to disappear somewhere ....
I think 1 kg is 18k USD and the gold bar is 10kg which is 180k .

So much money ... I even can't dream about it.
