I see a lot of members with 1 or 2 posts starting threads for new programs that turn out to be scams, or joining, posting a bunch of links, and never coming back. I think we should have a minimum number of posts to start a new program thread, just like there's a minimum to PM. I know there are scammers with plenty of posts, but having a minimum would cut down on a lot of scam new threads. It seems like a lot of people join just to promote their ref links without knowing anything about a program, and a limit would reduce that.

I don't think it will cut down major scams. May be it will reduce the useless/senseless/spammed posts by a lot but for major scams, they usually have well plan to spread on the forums and we can't stop them.

We can't do anything like that because people would just spam to get the minimum post count required.

Also, please make sure you report the people that join and spam their links around by using the report button onthe bottom left of their posts. It helps us a lot

How about it making it to where only supporters can post new threads... Only accept support payments thru egold so they cant charge back. Wonder if they are willing to pay to scam... Also Maybe set the rates different for poeple. Like say.. for poeple with less then 100 post it cost $100 to become a supporter for a month... more then 100 but less then 500 then its $75..... the more post they make then more chance we have to notice thier intentions here...

We can't do that People would just leave MMG and go to other forums.

Also, the idea of upgrading your account is primarily to help support MMG, and to receive some additional perks.
