i want to say something!!! - something that makes me really annoyed!!
there are al few members-and i mean senior members with more than 1000 posts and members that people know and like -but they are still spamming everywhere so their signature banner will be on top-they post messages like "congratulations" and "everything looks good here" and i"m out" etc ....
i just want to say -plz stop that!!! i know that u want your signature on top but thats not the way-if u dont have something important to say oin the thread then dont say it!!! if u dont wAnt to invest u dont need to post about it
and toi the other members i say-if u see a signature from a stupid post then dont join under that member!!!

and all the senior members who are spamming-u know who u are u may do it in a way that people dont notice but its enough to see all your last posts to see that you are spamming!!
so stop!!!!!
lenovo
good advice. mmg is becoming a spammers paradise. it is better to have some restrictions on signature. please suggest it in the suggestions section smile.gif

Well Gilmey in my opinion "SEnior Member" in my eyes is not

a person who has a great ammount of posts on his account

I don't like what some new members do - For instance there are members

for two weeks and have 2000 posts - and that is what I hate most annoyed.gif

And for sure I wouldn't call them "SEnior Members"

For me is a person that is on the forum for more than a half a year and the

post counter doesn;t really matter for me here

Just my 2cents peace.gif

Well , when i ask for advertising for my HYIP , guess what i got?

QUOTE
Hello,

We would like to present a REAL DEAL for you!

How would you like your hyip thread on MMG (MoneyMakerGroup.com) to become one of the most popular hyip?
MMG (MoneyMakerGroup.com) is world's most popular hyip forum.
Many successful hyips obtain REAL investors on MMG.

We are a group of Webmasters who came up with this idea, why not earn money on chatting, which is what we do best.

1 month ago, we started signing up several accounts each day, and chatting these accounts up to a respectable level, and we now have more than 50
accounts on MMG, each with 500+ posts.

Using a proxy program, and a little program one of us made in Visual Basic, we can be on as many of these accounts at one time as we like, making us
able to make YOU an EXCEPTIONAL offer!

We'll keep making positive statements about your program in your MMG thread, making at least 50 posts per day, and maintaining your thread so that it will never be
moved beyond the first page in the HYIP section.

This will make your thread one of the most seen threads on MMG, and for sure make you a lot of members!

So what do we want for this special offer?
ONLY $5 for the first day! , $10 for 3 days Or $20 for 7 days!

100% Money-Back Guarantee!
After 7 days, we can promise, at this time, your thread will have its own life!
We give you a 100% Money-Back guarantee. If you are not satisfied at any stage of your MMG campaign, ask for refund, and we'll send money immediately into your e-gold account.

How do you order and pay?
Simply reply to this email, with your threads LINK, the date to start advertising, the E-Gold number from which we will receive the payment, and any possible questions.
This would look like:

I guess those spammer might most probably be these guys that want to increase their post.

Btw, i do hate a few certain forumer that always say
"Oh, what a high payout plan. How are u gonna pay me. Bye"
"some bad comment. Bye"

I can almost see them every thread...
Van Bassidor
Make sure you report it when ever you see it. I noticed someone with 2000 posts and they had signed up a month after I had. I had a look through their posts and not one of them was any longer than one sentence.

Report it people, it is against the forums terms.

I fully agreed, although newbies tend to believe in people with lots of post, trust them and worship them as senior members, well, its really up to individual, if one is willing to believe, so be it, one's experience and one's trustworthy cant be determine by the number of post, or how long he has been in MMG.
I fully believe in the efficiency in MMG, they will do something soon, i guess..
But even if they dont, i just admire the sprits of those spammers, as they have the patience to spam, lol, maybe a few referals wouldnt harm to reward them for thier spamming..

Couldn't agree more with that, Gabar. You definitely have to pick and choose who to take advice from here at MMG. You almost have to do your own due diligence on the person offering advice, which I've done myself on a couple of occasions by reading their past posts. I wouldn't judge too many people their post count, but by the words they choose.

I can almost see them every thread...

I just opened my program recently and got the same message in my e-mail box as well. I have actually received 2 e-mails from different sources that stated the same thing. Seems that the first one I received which was different than the one listed here was a higher price for their services of posting 40 posts in a week or a day or something. I can't remember as I deleted it. But something to consider when reading these posts in programs.

actually i know of at least one senior member that has been here for a long time and people like him and is spamming so i didnt mean just people with alot of posts -gabar-look at what i posted-and members that people know and like

Personally, I don't think only allowing MMG supporters have signatures is the answer, Melle. In fact it might even help the signature spammer, as people would trust them more if they upgraded (which wouldn't be hard).

Just keep reporting it when you see it.

Well if you have a nuclear bomb or something, I'll glad nuke the spammers.

Notice the spammers who are reported are never heard from again... ninja.gif
Spamming is not tolerated AT ALL.

And senior members who are truly senior members aren't spamming. It's the ones who sign up and post a whole lot and say nothing who are spamming. Those aren't senior members.

I think a tactical nuclear strike might be the only answer, Mobile.

Yes, the MMG staff have responded very promptly to reports I have sent in concerning spam etc.. The topic sounded 'forum suggestions' like is all. I guess there isn't much that can be done accept for everyone to report it when it is seen so the mods can deal with it.

we would like to know the names because this way you are calling every senior member a spammer and this is what i feel bad. just tell us the names so atleast we will get to know who really he is .... maybe this way newbie's or even old members can learn something.

People think they're doing something wrong by using the report button, I just don't get that. How is it wrong to help us keep the forum clean and spam free? Many who I've talked to say they don't like using it or they feel like they're telling on someone. Well that's the point.

Not like anyone ever knows unless of course you say "I'm reporting you".

It's funny how this works.

I see people too, who have been here for less than 2 weeks and have 2 - 3 times the post I have.

People post the bare minimum, and that is a disgrace to MMG members that actually have semi-intelligent things to say, lol biggrin.gif.

Yes, that's true. I joined quite early than some high post count members but they are ranked higher than me in post count. I think the obvious reason is that they like to type?

For me "Senior member" is classified base on what time they joined the MMG forum, not base on their post count. rolleyes.gif

As soon as anyone sees spammers like this, it's very important that you report it by using the report button on the bottom left of their post. The spammers will be banned and their entire account will be wiped. We just need YOUR help to find them and get rid of them smile.gif

There are no more scammers or spammers here than any other forum. It's a constant battle. People shouldn't be investing in all those obvious scam hyips in the first place. Here's a few big hints:

If a site uses the goldcoder script (like 99% of all hyips) don't invest!
If the site looks like crap, dont invest!
If the site offers a stupidly crazy return, don't invest!
If the site claims that they are "a group of experienced investors in forex", don't invest! (they are lying)

A lot of people let these common sense rules slip by them. Follow those simple rules and you will avoid MANY scams.

Agreed

1. GC script (not licensed) Are DAMN CHEAP. Anyone can buy and set it up.
2. Well, some site looks good (by using ready built template). Won't join as well. Go for something that are "customed"-design. Atleast some efforts from admin.
3. Well, either the program ends fast. Or admin runs faster than a Ducatti after greedy investor invest in
4. Damn right. If real Investment are that profitable. We'll see Bill Gates tripling his wealth in 2 days.
5. Freaking nice stats within hours. Well, mostly are "faked".
6. Claiming SSL/DDos protection as hacker proof/some godly mega useful add-on for their program. Crap, we are protecting our emails from being taken? Or our E-Gold number. Both info are often made public. Passwords are entered in E-Gold SSLed Website, why a HYIP/AS need SSL as well? To me SSL are just pretty add-ons.
