Hello admin/moderators,

I would really like to be able to have a customer avatar here on MMG. I know there's a lot of members who feel the same way so I figured I'd throw the idea out there. I understand that limiting avatars can give the forum a more uniform, professional look & feel but on the other hand there's value in individual expression through features such as a custom avatar (as long as it doesn't cross the line). I think it's something to consider, Thanks!

There are a few threads around at the moment asking basically the same question.

We are aware of the situation, but we had some problems a little while ago with custom avatars. We are still assessing whether we want to allow them again, and will make an announcement if we do.

If customs avatars can't be turned on, could we possibly send you the picture so you can upload it for us? That way you can check and make sure the avatars aren't problematic. But of course that would mean extra work on your end..
