Often we see members banned from MMG. I wanna know reason of ban.

I suggest to make one topic, it may be even stickied, or even small subforum, with all banned members.

For example, if member got banned, I would like to see:
member: SampleMember
banned: 2008-04-24
reason: multiple ids, other ids: SampleMember2

It would be helpful to know sometimes, especially when some program admin is banned.

I think that would be good, but it would be more work for the admins/mods.

Adding another step to take when banning someone means taking away more time for them to do their job. Even giving a warning can be a couple minute process, in some cases.

I think if you're involved in HYIPs or AutoSurfs, I can see why you'd want to know. But if they've been banned, it's obvious that these persons are not to be trusted anyway.

MMG doesn't really ban people for little rule breaks, even if they've broken the little rules a couple of times. They may get suspended, but being banned means they broke one of the major rules that constitutes them trying to scam or spam.

When an admin is banned for multiple usernames or hiring paid posters to write fake posts in his thread, MMG bans all the usernames found and moves the thread to the inactive section. We feel that either of these offences are deceptive and we do not tolerate it. When we find this, we post a message on the 1st post of the topic in BOLD RED FONT. Been doing that for years now, so next time look at the first post. That's about all the info we are willing to disclose at this time.

If you read the rules of MMG (there's a big "Rules" Tab on the top of the page), and go down to ***Procedures*** and below that is Closed, Inactive & Offline Programs.

It gives 3 instances for a program to be moved.

QUOTE
Closed programs are programs whose administrators have officially announced the end to their programs.

Inactive programs
are programs whose thread on MMG has not had a single post for a period of 4+ weeks.

Offline programs are programs whose websites have been down for a minimum of 7 days.

The progam(s) that you're probably referring to was probably inactive (no single post for 4+ weeks) or offline (website down for 7+ days).
