I personally thought it was due for a change. They not only upgraded their forum script, but added a pretty nice template by Doris.

I would just like to see some extra little mods added, myself. But that's just me.

New design has more graphics => need to more time to load the site. Became less place to read topics because of "Sponsored Links", "Recent Topics" etc.

Doris designs are not bandwidth friendly... MMG owner complains of increasing cost of hosting yet he uses heavy skin... whatever.

my only complaint is that the left hand stuffs arent on the right hand side... but perhaps that might make it even less user friendly

I liked the old design a little better, but it's hardly a big deal about which skin whether I read MMG or not.

Well, may be need to add a function like "personal design for everyone". I mean, add 10+ skins that everybody could set one of them which he/she wants.

No Well, admin can add old design to people can change this one to previous if somebody wants (then needn't pay smth because admin has old skin I suggest).

The old skin was for IPB 2.1.x and is not compatible with 2.2.x so we would need to pay to get it updated.

I'm not sure, probably a couple hundred bucks. Regardless, we aren't really interested in managing multiple skins.

I need to some hundreds volunteers then (each can spend 1$ I think) But that's bad you aren't interested in

Each skin needs to be updated every time we add new features, upgrade the site, modify any of the advertising, etc. and this can be a time consuming and sometimes expensive task. If it was simple to give people multiple skins to choose from while maintaining the overall "feel" of the site, we would do so, but it really isn't easy.

Lol it's one of those situations where, bluntly speaking, you have to get over it and get used to it.
They've put the money into this one, it's going to stay I'd assume.

I wouldn't necessarily say the new skin is going to stay - there is definite room for improvement, but I don't don't really think we will be bringing back the old skin. I really believe in moving forward and trying to improve things. Whenever we decide to commission a new skin I think we can learn from the strengths and weaknesses of this skin and our previous skin and use that information to make something even better.

I like it . Frankly, whether or not I like it or not will not make them change it. It's sleek, professional, and well made, that's all there is to it.

There is actually less banner advertising spaces with this new skin than there was with the old one.

i like this one too, but i dont like the sponsor links (blocks) in the left.

I think this one feels like its a little heavy to load for the slow internet connections out there.

For some reason new design looks cheaper too me, but it could just be because of new ads

I like the present color theme but it does seem to take ages to load.

i'll tell ya why it LOOKS CHEAPER than c uz the white words on light blue tired eyes canNOT see the BLUR w/o microscope u NEED to change words to DARK BLUE or BLACK

you got that RITE down ther NGirl skin wuz FINE dark blue so if anything they can change it to Emerald Green or darker
with HOT ORANGE Title words or similar

i thought i would get use to it, but i find i still don't really like it..
