anyway we can move those banners from the side..man all these new ads latly this place is starting to look like talkgold...
yep i hate it. Change it asap
I don't think they're too bad. TG has all of those little 120x120 graphic ads on the side. Maybe add a vertical banner ad, the recent topics, and maybe some text ads wouldn't be too bad.

I think it looks fine. With the new recent posts thing it makes the ads not so noticable since they are a bit farther down. You guys complain too much lol

You guys complain too much lol Wouldn't you think it would be best if it all went all to the right hand side of the forum? It's just a matter of getting used to it but I can ignore the ads on the right much batter By the way mods, I don't wana start a new thread reporting thins since it is something that you can fix easily. There is a problem when displaying the money cyclers forum because of the new layout. It's a matter of tables here it is http://www.moneymakergroup.com/Money-Cyclers-f112.html Danny...
Please see some comments i have on this issue here: http://www.moneymakergroup.com/index.php?s...t&p=4108951
please move to right hand side wher its less irritating
i agree the right side would be much better..
A wider screen will be good enough

Yup, I agree quite irritating for sure...
I don't like to have anything on my left... There are quite a few things on my left which can be kept somewhere else, really not looking good for sure.. Do you realize there are currently less ads than there were before we added the sidebar?
i think people would complain less if the bar was on the right instead of the left.

QUOTE(Radmax @ May 27 2007, 01:58 AM) Do you realize there are currently less ads than there were before we added the sidebar? Earlier, the adds were not that visible compared to the present settings. Even though the number of adds are currently less, they are occupying more visible space (roughly25% of the screen) than before since they are placed on the side when compared to the adds displayed at the top and bottom of the pages in the past. The sidebar was going to be added regardless of whether or not we added advertisements to it. We are going to work on adding more useful modules to the sidebar and maybe slim it down a bit, but it is here to stay.
I have to agree with all the others - except for the part about looking like TG.
Just don't change the color scheme to orange or I may change my mind. The side bar (whether it's filled with ads or other modules) is annoying to me. Everything I want to see is all squished up. If a side bar is truly "here to stay" can you please consider moving the whole column to the far right of the screen? Thank you. QUOTE(KingOfQueens @ May 27 2007, 08:26 AM) i think people would complain less if the bar was on the right instead of the left. but would it mean less exposure for advertisers? maybe on the right, we can only see half sidebar on full screen.
WmWF like outlay will be much lighter.
I sort of got used to it right now, but just one suggestion why is the side bar that much cussiony? 1inch is practically wasted on padding around the advertising.

Danny.... that's true..maybe they could squish up that side more instead of the main forum topics
The ad bars or position are not really a problem for me. But some of the ads themselves are. Especially the banners with fish and smilies! Do people really click on these annoying ads? If I wanted to sit and see fish I would go to an aquarium
OMG now there is one with elephants on it!!! Where's my rifle!
yes...it is making this forum very slow...and is also making it congested...click, take a deep breath, yawn and wait till the window opens....
Yes....seems like your are at talkgold.....Probably the admin guys can do something to increase bandwidth or something... I am a member of some real good forums which are real fast and have less of ads and more of informative content...
Put them all in all threads, posts and signatures.
