protection and e-accounts

So i have a couple of questions as my first post.

First off how do all these people get their e-accounts hacked? ive heard members say that people are using keyloggers, but to my knowledge it has to be manually installed on the target computer? and do keyloggers show up on virus scans?

Secondly if it isn't alot of money can we put money into a program through intgold and then withdraw later with e-gold?
