I got mugged tonight across the street from where I live while on the walk home from delivering christmas presents to a friend's house. I didn't get hurt, and the guy let me keep all my cards n junk, but he did take all the cash I had on me, only $15, and my new LG VX7000 cell phone that I bought 2 weeks ago. I paid the extra $6 to get insurance on the phone, and already started the claim to get it replaced -and needless to say I've been in an awkward mindset through the rest of the night, but I realized something. In all the programs that I've invested and participated in that have failed, and all the thousands of dollars that've gone down the toilet with them, at least this mugger dude let me know that I was going to be losing some money right up front!

I hope you're ok, sounds like you need to make some money and move to a better place. Anything on the brown package left at your door?

You seem to have all the bad luck around here... At least you're okay. Had someone try to jack me at gunpoint...keyword being try. Still no fun even if you know the guy doesn't have the balls to do anything. But this part I quoted is pretty funny. I wish they would have said, invest $500 and I'm going to run.

2004 has been a really crazy year for me. Here's what I can think of off the top of my head-
I spent half the summer in Japan and learned a lot about myself and people in general.
Jason introduced me to the world of online-money making which has changed my life even more.
I quit my Joe-Job.
I got introduced into two whole new sets of friends.
I've started seein' someone new.
I had enough use to need a cell phone for the first time in my life.
And also for the first time ever, I've had an anonymous package left at my door and gotten mugged.
I can't even begin to think what 2005 is going to be like.

I had a guy stick a 45. in my face with Kim sitting in the car seat next to me, right in front of my house. I really know how you feel man. At least the only thing you lost was $15 and a few days of cell-phone goodness.

Very glad to know that you are physically ok and that the theif got very little from you. Being robbed in any manor is a personal invasion ... please spend a part of your next few days in touch with the people who support you and care about you as you may actually still be in shock. Take good care.

So glad you are physically all right. However, between the mystery package and this, if it were me I would be getting seriously paranoid.
