It's that time again, and to help you through this difficult time for your stomach here are a few tips to keep your waist in check and to stop you making that New Year's Resolution that you always end up breaking:
1. It's okay to have Christmas Day. Just don't let it turn into a Christmas week or month.
2. Wear a belt and buckle it up snugly before your meal.
3. Put the meals on your plate. When you pick food from a buffet so you can't see exactly how much you're eating so you tend to eat more.
4. Go for a stroll after your meals. Getting some fresh air after food not only feels good but it burns at least a few more calories than taking a snooze or going for seconds (or thirds as it may be).
That's all I can think of for now, enjoy the holiday. peace.gif

Watch what you drink.
Studies have shown that 20% of your daily calories are your liquid intake.

So, for every drink you know you probably shouldn't have, drink one glass of water.
This might have you using the ladies room more often, but you will also be dispensing
calories, not to mention the extra calories you will burn having to keep getting up to
use the ladies room.

Yeah it's surprising. One 600ml bottle of softdrink has about 12-15% of your RDI for calories, I assume beer has far more.
