Now, with the HYIP section getting a little improvement recently by adding the Closed, Inactive, and Offline Programs section as a sub-forum or child forum, I think there also needs to be a little more done to it.
I understand that the HYIP section is one of the most popular sections in MMG (if not THE most popular), and I would not want to change that. Only give a better understanding of what programs are contained therein.
The HYIP section contains quite a bit of different programs inside of it. There are those who claim to invest, those that are games, those that claim to be profit-sharing, etc.
Now, I know the games should probably be moved to the Money Cyclers section because that is what they basically are, but moving them there would have them lose out on the popularity of the HYIP section. I really wouldn't want to see that because chances are, these have a better chance of the admin not running a complete scam (just my opinion).
My recommendation would be have the HYIP section have sub-forums or children forums where you might have them listed as 1) investments 2) games 3) profit-sharing 4) unsorted
I really don't know if there are other categories you can put them into, but I think it might help. Hopefully the person who lists the program can put it in the correct category, but if not, members can report the thread to be moved into the correct section.
The main reason why I would like to see this implemented is because of all posts that I see once a program ends of members who are still wanting their money, even when the program has stated it was game throughout the program life. To me, this means something else needs to be done to inform these new members of what kind of program they have joined and put their money in.

I wouldnt sort the categories because hyip = ponzi.
Half admins say they're ponzi scheme is based on stocks, futures, bonds, forex etc anyways lol. Other half say they're honest games. I guess it will just make browsing more time consuming
I can see where your coming though

HYIP IS ALWAYS GAMBLING. After years of investigation, if returns for investors are more than 15% per annum, the program won't last for more than 3 years.

I can see where your coming though Yeah, I mean, a lot of us obviously know it's BS that they say it's based on investing, but without being a total troll about it...it just seems a more reasonable approach. At least a starting point.
