Youtube Success Basics, If you want traffic be prepared.

  1. Have your link showing in the bottom of the video for the entire video. (water mark factory)
  2. The first line in your description must be have the to your site your want people to fo visit. Then put a space after it.
  3. The Title of your video should contain the target key words.
  4. The next line in your description after the URL link must be the same as the title.
  5. The first words in your tags must be the same as the tile.
  6. Use all the share options youtube provides under the video.
  7. Find the 10 highest veiwed video's in your keyword catagory and post video responses to all of them if possible.
  8. When rating someones video ask them please to also rate your video and you will subscribe to them.
  9. Go to google and find the top three result on the first page with the most keyword related to your video and copy and paste the entire result of those three into your desciption.
  10. Find blogs and rss feeds and do the same that are related to those key words. Thats 9 in all pasted into your description
  11. In all of those results you find try to leave comments if possible at thiose sites including leaving the URL of your video.
  12. Upload at 1 video everyweek.



This is just a basic but it will hep you find out what makes Youtube rock.


Next time I should talk about getting your channell setup to be YT friendly.

Look for megaplxtv and nrgyhi at Youtube to see what good YT channels can look like.

no you can't actually, cause YT screens your IP address. And even when you use proxies and such (cause you could do that in the old days) they will block the viewcount. Which is one of the things largely responsible for high ranking. Don't ask me how they do that, but they can.

I like the tips in the startpost though! Excellent summary!

These are great tips!

I have a youtube channel with about 25 videos in it. I'm finding I'm not getting the amount of views that I'd like. After reading these tips, I think I'm doing some things right, but I can see there's a lot more that I could be doing as well smile.gif
