A couple years ago I tried AM. It was for some kind of...miracle exercise regime, the program itself was solid and it converted extremely well for EVERYONE else but anyway, I got my ref link which lead to the sales page with such a great conversion rate, wrote some google ads (good ones) made my keyword list (this took me 3 hours...between research and whatnot) I ended up paying about 2 cents a click...problem is, i got over 10,000 clicks in 2 days, cleaned out my account, not a single sale...not even an opt-in (paid a buck each for opt-ins)! Not that I really wanna get back into the saturated market but, I can't help but wonder what could I have done better?

What kind of sales funnel did You use? Did You drive the visitors instantly to Your affiliate offer?

I would like to know the answer that question as well. I have been reading up about AM like a sponge. Just trying to find the best way to approach things like this when you are investing your own money.

Hmmm, if the sales page was high converting and the Google ads were good ones, and everyone else was doing so well, you should have done better.

Makes you wonder if those 'others' really were doing that well. Do you know for a fact that everyone was doing well with it, or was that just hype?

If you did everything right and nothing happened, maybe it was the product itself and you were misled into thinking it was so good.

Just a thought.

Well, I see your mistake. You didn't run your own test to see YOUR results, and you didn't set a daily budget for a test run then watch it like a hawk daily over the course of your test run.

Always test!
